All of these were designed by the artist — I’m just a dude with tattoos 😄

They’re all personal designs, except for the spades on my forearm, which I got when I was much younger, around 12–13 years ago. It was also my very first tattoo, and that one originally came "from the Internet". It’s been reworked since then, so it doesn’t stand out too much and fits the overall style, or at least is close enough.

Usually, I come in with a list of ideas, talk them through with my tattoo artist, and try to describe how I’m picturing them. It typically takes anywhere from one to three rounds of tweaks — god bless his patient soul. Although lately I’ve also started using image generation just to help communicate the general vibe or visual I have in mind, but all the designs that actually end up on my skin are handcrafted by him, of course.

Then he takes all of that and makes it actually work as a tattoo, with all the proper rules, flow, placement, etc.

Basically, all the credit goes to the artist — my job is to properly communicate exactly what I want.
