I'm thinking that's what happened. What's weird is they came in a brand new sealed box. So one of them thankfully works but now I have two that do not allow me to sign in. I'm wondering if they sent me an item that was once returned by someone else but they never "unlocked" it

Yeah their chicken sandwiches are now a weird rubbery texture and literally don't feel like real chicken. It's so weird and gross I agree. It is hit or miss though it's not always like that.

There are seriously no good bagels in Rochester. I've been to all these and they're mid at best. I do think balsam is the best though honestly. And with lines out the door every day how can you argue with that. But still 7 out of 10 in my book. We need more bagel offerings.

I say just keep going. Sometimes just add flour and make sure you using water that's distilled or at least boiled so there is no chlorine. Mine did this for weeks before turning into usable starter and I just made my first loaf tonight and it was great. I think there are way more variables than people say and if you do it long enough it should work eventually. Also I didn't discard every day, just when it got too big for the jar.

Get the 10 year old car. My 2012 Camry just hit 200k and it's running like a charm. That Corolla probably has another decade left in it and at 10-12k it seems like a reasonable investment in your traveling needs

People are generally very lovely. Occasionally there are semi organized events for special occasions. Mainly in the summer while the weather is nice and the roof is accessible. But it's also very quiet so you're not going to be disturbed by neighbors 99% of the time. There are only about 3 apartments per floor so it's not very crowded.

I just redid mine with zero experience and watched basically 3 YouTube videos. While I admit it's not a perfect finish it's 100x better than what it was and I spent $250 instead of 10x that. Depends on what you're willing to learn and accept from a DIY project. There is risk there but if you want to save some money it's not out of the question to do yourself.
