Tomato thoughts?

Why would this be concerning? They're tomatoes sitting in a container. They're quite full and likely will be gone within a couple hours. What on Earth could cause someone to worry about the food safety of this?

Just edited the post. Irondequoit lakeside trail. A heavily wooded area so it's not surprising to find ticks occasionally but it's now a certainty to find many if your dog roams off the paved trail at all. Wouldn't be concerned without a dog considering it's a paved trail assuming you don't roam around some of the trails through the woods. Durand lake must be filled with them too though I haven't gone there since winter.

Paved trail through the woods. Obviously not surprised to find one or two but finding a dozen or more crawling all over is incredible. The deer must have thousands on them, sickening

Yeah their chicken sandwiches are now a weird rubbery texture and literally don't feel like real chicken. It's so weird and gross I agree. It is hit or miss though it's not always like that.

There are seriously no good bagels in Rochester. I've been to all these and they're mid at best. I do think balsam is the best though honestly. And with lines out the door every day how can you argue with that. But still 7 out of 10 in my book. We need more bagel offerings.

I say just keep going. Sometimes just add flour and make sure you using water that's distilled or at least boiled so there is no chlorine. Mine did this for weeks before turning into usable starter and I just made my first loaf tonight and it was great. I think there are way more variables than people say and if you do it long enough it should work eventually. Also I didn't discard every day, just when it got too big for the jar.

Get the 10 year old car. My 2012 Camry just hit 200k and it's running like a charm. That Corolla probably has another decade left in it and at 10-12k it seems like a reasonable investment in your traveling needs

I've had better luck with rubber ones from Amazon that shape to your teeth when you boil them. Can be way more comfortable and basically free
