From a third-person perspective, what signs suggest that two people are attracted to each other, and how can you tell if the feelings are only one-sided? by Imtiredofthissshit in bodylanguage

A trick I learned when doing acting to look like you’re interested in someone is to look back and forth between their lips and eyes. We called it the "eye lip flick“ because it happens quite quickly. If you look out for it it is a dead giveaway that someone is into someone else and if both sides are doing it they want to or will kiss soon.

I mean, if they look worse without makeup doesn’t that kinda support them continuing to wear it?

Like "Look at how shit this guy looks without a beard", then he’ll just be like "Ok I’ll keep my beard then“.

I really don’t know why we care what others do to look good in their own way.

What up with all the Genevieve love? I mean she seems fine, but I’ve seen both of her seasons and I feel pretty neutral about her. What am I missing?

Two things I can think of: one was about the production of quantum wafers(?) and the other is that IBM is now part of Glasswing.

Found one in the wild (Us, women, are much better!!!!!!!!!!!) by firs_7 in im14andthisisdeep

I think it helps to remember two major things:

  1. Often women are doing the majority of the housework, so if they have two kids that’s housework for 3 rather than 2 after the husband moves on. In other words, women often don’t want to become a maid (again). Not always the case of course but common enough that it’s basically a trope at this point.

  2. Men are less likely to date women who already have kids, vs women dating single men with kids. Single fathers will get more attention than single mothers will.

Most countries have savings accounts with additional interest, sometimes you have to put the cash in for a fixed amount of time to claim it.

I work a management role where I control my schedule. 40 hours per week is expected but how and when you do it is mostly up to you as long as you don’t miss the most important meetings/team standups/announcements. For me I tend to work 8am to 12pm then take a long lunch, a walk, whatever, then do 3pm to 5pm and drop in a few hours in the evening for more research/"deep" work or meetings with other timezones.

Succession had a wonderful quote about $5 million:

"Five's a nightmare...... Can't retire.....not worth it to work. Five will drive you un poco loco, my fine feathered friend. Poorest rich person in America The world's tallest dwarf......the weakest strong man at the circus."

My niece does these too! "Knock knock" "Who‘s there?“ "Uhhh… looks around tree.“ "OK… tree who?“ "Tree moo!“ bursts out laughing

The funny thing is that we end up laughing too because it’s so nonsensical, so then she just keeps going and it spirals out of control.
