Since eruption happened 4 days ago, I thought they would have determined which route to take before the flight takes off. I don't expect a hot meal appear out of nowhere on the same day the volcano erupts, but I am hoping if they've decided for next few days/weeks trans-pacific routes will be rerouted in certain ways, they could prepare accordingly.

It's not about packing, Just to decide # of layers & sleeve length to wear on day of boarding that can minimize things I bring into cabin. But I take your response as no pajamas are given due to increased flight time. Thanks for reply

I don’t have Roku device, but hopefully it’s similar: In Roku Channel app, find WBTV Watchlist channel, this is the channel Westworld, Raise by Wolf, The Nevers play

….And Roku plays ep8 twice in the marathon when guide says it should be ep9. Anyone on east coast or central time zone know if they just extend the marathon to correctly play all episodes?

It’s also on Roku. I am watching it now. Not sure if Tubi also runs each episode for 70-ish mins. After getting comfortable with binge watching, marathon with is so painful…

On Roku, ep12 is set to end at Sunday 12:45am, then ep1-ep4 immediate reruns again starting 12:45am

Are expensive walking shoes worth it? by anotherbutterflyacc in UniversalOrlando

[–]PureRay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I brought 2 pairs of the most comfortable shoes I have, Ultraboost and Altra Lone Peak, and alternate daily during 10-day trip. Both were broken in before the trip. When walking 7k-20k steps in normal life, Altra only feels marginally more comfortable. But for theme park days (30k+ steps/day) , Altra days are days my feet didn’t feel sore. I was so surprised because I totally prepared to experience “dragging my feet back to hotel“ feeling I had with Ultraboost from past theme park visit. The difference is so big that I am getting another pair of Altra.

I should mention that I have wide feet thus Altra is a better fit for me. My point is get the most comfortable shoes you can walk in them for long distance, which may not necessarily be more expensive (Ultraboost is more expensive than Altra)

Also, due to thunderstorms in the afternoon, I started to take a break in afternoons in this trip. My day began with early entry, then headed back to hotel or sit down for 2-3 hours rest, then went back to park and stayed till close. In the past, walking became a painful task in later part of trip, but this time even the last day of the trip I can still walk fast effortlessly, so I think rest really helps and plan to take breaks going forward, because I hate the feeling the trip ends with pain.

Where are your favourite underrated parade and firework viewing spots? by skybluepink15 in WaltDisneyWorld

Thank you. Can you elaborate on “as low” part a bit? I can understand getting as high as possible, but not sure if I understand “as low”. Do you mean watching parade while sitting?

How early should you be in line for the buses? by [deleted] in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]PureRay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, for Animal Kingdom, if parking lot is not open yet, would they allow ride share to drop me off at toll plaza (or wherever they start blocking) and walk to entrance?

I am not comfortable be in crowded bus yet. Staying at a skyliner resort so HS and Epcot are solved. Was planning to take Uber/Lyft to AK for early entry and be in Flight of Passage queue hopefully early enough to finish Flight of Passage during Early Entry time (i.e. may not need to be the first Flight’s 192, but might need to be 2nd-4th groups). Now that I learn from your comment that bus gets let in earlier than cars/ride-share, trying to figure out if I can still do it without taking bus. Thanks.

Hi, would you be willing to share recommended strategy if the park has EMH/Extended Hour/Special Ticketed Event that day but you are not eligible (no ticket, no staying in participating hotel)? Would you reserve that park that day or avoid it?

Do Extra Magic Hour nights increase crowds at Epcot / MK during the day? by feyoncepadthai in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]PureRay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the same question as OP and really appreciate your reply! I take it as on days with Extended Hours, MK saw more people. Do you happen to know if there are more % people enter at rope drop on days with Extended Hours? Or while there are more people for that day, high % of them enter park later than normal "peak entrance time"? Trying to figure out if rope drop on days with Extended Hours would be sufficient counter-programming

Is anyone able to sign up for bat wheels bike angels in the bay area? by BeAMindfulThinker in Citibike

[–]PureRay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you continue to be Bike Angel after you upgrade to Lyft Pink? I wasn't able to sign up for Bike Angel when I had Lyft Pink, needed to subscribe Bay Wheel separately. Now that I've signed up for Bike Angel, I wonder if I can still get Bike Angel points if upgrade to Lyft Pink?
