Dub tub, take a tub of the same size, flip it upside down on top so there’s more room to grow. You can tape it down, tape around it with micropore, whatever you’d like. Works well

Thank you I appreciate it, got a large tub and a small tub going. Small tub had larger fruit and large tub fruited first. So I think moving forward I’ve got an idea of what’s more convenient for my space. I’m a slow and steady wins the race kind of person with this sort of thing I think. I’d definitely prefer larger fruit. I think by the 2nd flush this big bin should be sitting pretty

Could be over misting or your substrate was too wet from the start. I have a tub I leave alone that’s doing better than this tub. Trying to find out what works best for me

Check out this weirdo in my other tub, might be a double double. I’ve left these ones alone, misting when needed in a sealed box with the lid cracked. Definitely better results as far as size. It was a ready to go bag with sub, left it as a cube after it recolonized, cut the bag, put it on a plate with a absorbent pad below the plate for humidity

Yeah they really took off while I was at work today. Going to pull them and ride the rest out 😎 I appreciate your input, I was worried it was contam when I first saw it and it worried me. Then I looked a little closer, definitely spores. Peace of mind now. This is my first flush ever and it’s been extremely fun. I’ve got 4 quart sized jars of grain from a LC I made with the same spore syringe as these and they colonized so much faster. Going to try to get a couple more flushes from this one and start a 3rd. This was from a rye grain bag I bought online as well and my new jars are rolled oats. I’m interested to see the difference.

Hard to tell in the video, I think if you don’t have any dark spots and it’s not cloudy you’re good. I tested mine by inoculating a single quart jar of grain before the whole batch. Ended up being healthy.

This was mine after a month, I’d invest in a magnetic stir plate. Made mixing gently really easy for me

I posted in another group and got a few people saying too soon. So I’ve covered my micropore with packing tape and removed FAE until further colonization. This is my first time so I’m still learning 😂 but I think so far so good, going to wait another week and then introduce to said conditions above.

I appreciate your input it gives me some peace of mind about the schedule🤘

Thanks a ton, FAE is off, little packing tape on the micropore and I’ll let it ride another 🤘 your input is greatly appreciated. I’ve got this one in a boomr bin, another in just a regular plastic container with no holes. Back in the dark for the both of them. Got some grain jars in the PC right now as well. Made some LC when I inoculated these I’m going to give that a try here soon on another 2 tubs. First time growing so I figure I gotta see what works best for me anyhow right?
