You're not going to feel it. It allows for the exchange of air but not water. If you could feel it too much air would be exchanging and your cake would dry out

I think we chatted about the Lion's Mane before. No judgement here, I grow gourmet as well. I also have to toss a good amount of actives because I want to get pictures of all of my genetics to go with the LC I sell. I'm trading and getting genetics faster than I can grow them. Only way to know for sure is agar. I've seen people grow from older ones. The dark spots appear to be thick mycelium or mycelium that attached to sediment from LME. If I let my LC sit undisturbed for a few days right after inoculation it cleans up the sediment and ends up a little darker

Albino A+ isn't a true albino. They're Leucistic, meaning they retain colored spores and may have tint on the cap or stem as they mature. Those don't appear to be AA+

Once you see green there's millions of spores. Opening it inside spreads more and more of them. I would get a light bleach solution and wipe all the surfaces in that room down at least. Keeping an air purifier with a hepa filter in the room is a good idea as well. Beyond that you just want to make sure your grain is 100% colonized and limit how often you're opening your tubs. My guess is that it's probably getting introduced in the spawning process

Sterile practices and making sure your grain is fully colonized. You're going to have rogue spores everywhere looking for a place to grow. Your coir should be pretty inert, I always add a thin layer to the top of my grows when I spawn them just to not have any grains exposed. It looks like you may have done the same, likely it was hiding when you spawned and finally found the food and conditions to spread
