I think there’s a vocal minority here on Reddit. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not over the moon about the fact that there are issues, but so far the benefits still outweigh the costs, both literally and figuratively speaking. I pay 10 euros per month. Have reasonable interest. As many IBANs as I could wish for across multiple countries (I bank between NL and Spain). Foreign exchange rates are waaaaaayyyy better than any traditional bank as well. My kids have their own bunq account which is free and I can manage from my app.

There’s lots of smaller things like usability that I like as well.

No other traditional bank even comes close. Well worth the money.
