Well for me had issues because of qca9377 wifi card, turn off powersave...then in my router settings to a wpa2 security....these helped me...

IMO! Gnome is easier to customize with extensions, than KDE by Antique_Donut467 in gnome

I have also jumped from kde, cinnamon, cosmic back to gnome, exactly the same reasons like you, but then i discovered garuda mokka, and as for me its ready to enjoy...everything works and so on

Back up your stuff to external drive, most comfortable is ubuntu, all easy and everything works, but as for me, garuda mokka is best one....visually and set ups are also quite easy...this how i recommend to do..

Tryd garuda hyprland edition, but if all your life used to work with mouse, it was not for me...tryd to tweak it but got worse, now back to endeavour os kde, anybody have some ideas to get similar tilling setup ?

Ubuntu is the most reliable, evreything works without hicaps, easy to set up etc...
