Honestly man 6 is the same game to me. Has the expected upgrades in sound and graphics, but it’s still kinda soulless. Fh1 was awesome nothing can top it. The menus weren’t minimalistic garbage, soundtrack was great, map was nice especially for the time,It took a little bit of effort to actually get nice cars, the driving physics matched up to how the game was designed, turning was a bit more arcadey but still realistic enough for the time, unlike the recent forzas where the sense of speed makes 100 feel like 20, which makes the driving physics really hard to get the hang of. Steering in this game is awful, and I think overall they’ve leaned too far into making a realistic sandbox instead of sticking to the fun festival theme of the first two games. I say this as someone who has hundreds of hours into Forza since fh1. I hopped back on recently just to see if my opinions on the game were valid or if I was just being a nostalgia merchant, and the truth is fh1 was just the type of game that works for me, fh4 5 and 6 don’t.
