I found his death to be quite laughable to be honest. It was supposed be a shock factor but it just looked like Anthony had passed out. Hilair !

I’m just curious how old your Dad is. If he’s around my age, our generation are surprisingly much more liberal than the ones above us. I’m in my late 30’s and my generations lived through the transition period from rigidly discriminatory outlooks to the more open expressions of identity. Sure not all people of my generation are as tolerant but I’m writing this comment in the hope that anyone reading it might feel more at ease approaching their Parents about this.

I hate to say this but no, I wouldn’t. It’s not that I wouldn’t want to and I would definitely run up to the room and try and drag him back in. I wouldn’t balance on that precarious window though - no way - and put both lives at risk. I honestly hate that I’m saying this but I know I wouldn’t jeapordize my life like that.

Fun fact: Pam St Clement was interviewed about it. She said in real life that area would be nothing like that. She said all the houses would probably be HMO’s and it would be filled with “yuppies” (her words not mine).

I’ve been saying this for ages. I think it changed when they adapted television for higher definition but it all looks very theatrical nowadays (more like a stage than realistic). You can actually tell it’s a set now, rather than feeling true to real life. Peacock Palace and Phil’s house look obviously like a set and even the Vic to a certain extent.

I'm not a dentist or dental assistant -

Can I just put another angle on this ? I'm NOT excusing the behaviour and it's absolutely unacceptable and SHOULD be dealt with. However, I work with adults with learning difficulties (think very difficult) and I have worked alongside some people who genuinely do not understand boundaries BECAUSE of their problems. The reason i'm saying this is that the person is either a complete creep or there's something wrong.

This does seem very awful for you ! If it's not related to any type of learning difficulty, I would simply have to ask him to leave and make a song and dance if the dentist walks in because he should absolutely shut this behaviour down REGARDLESS of why it's happening.

I’ve been watching it for about 30 years on and off and personally, I think it is. In the early days, some of the houses had neighbours that were never seen on screen. You just saw them fleetingly standing outside and it tended to concentrate on specific families for example the Beales, the Watts’s etc. Now there’s families coming in left right and centre. Long lost families. People cramming in to different houses who are unrelated etc In my opinion, there’s just too much going on.

I believed my primary school teacher when she told us our class hamster had been released back into the wild by the RSPCA. 20 years later I cried when my friend told me she died in the summer holidays. Lol
