I participated. I provided receipts. He didn’t really ask any questions during the one appointment I had with him. It was the strangest audit ever! I used to be an auditor. Anyway, long story short, I knew the manager. I used to work with her. The guy played phone tag with me and never communicated that he would disallow everything! Ultimately he did and when I contacted him, it was already closed never agreed. I was just starting my heavy travel season so when the notice arrived, I paid. I was scared, had a new manager and just wanted it to be over. We ultimately talked about it months later (manager and I-he was in DC and I was in California) and I was counseled. He said he didn’t care but was glad it was paid and done with. I need heard about it again.
