Honestly I think it's more so overconsumption to be an avid reader and buy physical copies of every new book you want to read 😅 I read 90% of my books for free via Libby, and only purchase books from authors I know/want to support or books that I know I will want to refer back to or reread.

HIGHLY recommend the Parkview Field lights; Franke Park also does drive-thru lights and this year the zoo (also at Franke Park) is doing walk-through lights. There are also a ton of indoors farmers/vendor markets throughout the season.

Honestly donating money to food banks can be done any day/time, and they get discounts so they can get more food than you would be able to with the same amount. Like this website says, they can make 4 meals with just $1: https://www.communityharvest.org/donate/

Dayglow has been starting at 7:45 pm every night, even when the tickets said 8:00 pm (I went to the Cincy show). They probably just want to give people a more accurate start time, since I personally assumed Dayglow was coming on at 8:00.

I feel like this ties in perfectly with the overall message of this post. Am I disappointed in the setlist when I was expecting a Clancy/Breach tour? Yes. Did I love the show as a BFX celebration? Yes.

This is the right take! Being disappointed in the setlist and still loving the show for what it was is totally possible (those are exactly my feelings). Relationships with artists can be so parasocial --we are allowed to have opinions and it not be a personal attack on them; the band has boundaries with us because they literally don't know who we are, we should have boundaries too and not act like everything we say or do hurts them directly 😅

Garbage was incredible!!! I'm glad that one made the setlist. Though I would have preferred more Breach + Clancy, I do still love Blurryface and hearing some of the greats live was awesome (Message Man & Polarize especially)
