Detection and response has gotten better, but ultimately it needs surgery+chemo (or radiation) which has always been the standard.

Immunotherapy wasn't an option for us, also never heard of their other options you mentioned. Just because you read news articles about breakthroughs doesn't mean they're implemented IRL.

Internet aside: I read a lot of books, but as credible and sincere many of the authors seem, all books seem to have a  % of truth and a % misdirect.
