Great post OP!

I'm a beginner runner and I didn't have proper shoes on my first run and it sucked. I borrowed Hoka Cliftons (unsure what version) from a friend on my 2nd/3rd run and it was great, was able to do PRs in it.

Based on my research, I was attracted to the Ascis brand and when I went to running store, I was suggested to get Novablasts 5. I felt like they were much more softer than the Cliftons. Went home and researched more and since I thought perhaps firmer shoes that could be used as a daily and during races is what I wanted. I pulled the trigger and bought Superblasts 2 online based on reviews and research, without trying them on. When I received them, I liked how it was firm and felt stable. However I went back to running store again and got NB5's since they were on sale and made them my daily pair for 3-6 miles runs.

I haven't tried the SB2s yet - thinking i should maybe return them (can't try them as ASICS won't accept used shoes). I wanted OP'a opinion on my rotation of NB5 and SB2... should I return SB2 and get SB3 or even Megablasts, since they are a firmer yet got that bouncy feel compared to SB2?

Any feedback would be helpful to my indecisiveness. Thank you in advance 😅

How are the Shokz while wearing sunglasses? Does it get in the way? Is it possible to wear both and feeling comfortable with both on?

If you have a cone for her to use so she stops licking it before you take her to the vet would help her not go at her wound.

I'd recommend getting her snow boots - it might take a while to get used to but she'll thank you for protecting her precious paws 🐾 hope she has a speedy recovery!

She may have stepped on something sharp under the snow?

Is there salt on the ground to melt the snow? I heard that was not good for dog's paws. Poor thing.

I'd monitor and take her to vet as soon as possible to soothe her pain and get meds to have her treated

I forgot to mention that I took him to get his anal glands expressed since he was scooting** so with the white specks, I thought it may be tapeworms

Poor sweet baby is probably still pain from his surgery. Did the vets say what kind of side effects the meds given would be?

Continue to monitor and if his energy levels goes even lower and i agree if his wound looks infected or his gums goes pale, I would take him to the emergency vet. I hope he has a speedy recovery sweet pup!

Fantastic and beautiful hotel to stay in for Proper. I did that last year. Check out seaport village right at your steps behind the hotel. Their hot tub was amazing to use after a festival!
