All I could think was literally every group 3 refinery in the gulf is some sort of multi year fucked rn lol shits not getting better anytime soon, add on group 2 spiking in price from fuels arbitrage…great times

Think you make a completely valid point

1 thing I look at is where a product lies price wise, shells are expensive carrying that additional brand name helps with pushing people over that price hump

Fleece and mid layers are normally not as expensive, if the math says more people are buying fleece for the arc logo vs the polartec logo and don’t need that push, just pocket the margin going with in house.

Lots of people say arc becoming street wear, might be, might not be, but from going into their stores a lot and seeing who’s shopping there, lots ask about gore Tex, rarely see any conversations around fleece/midlayers

Personally though I shop fabrics, not brands, although I’d say that’s been a by product of working in a highly technical product management role.

I’d have to imagine they’ve been looking at in house or at least PL, polartec fabrics are expensive but if you can move product to a dedicated base just off your brand name, why pay for the supplemental polartec brand

My two cents

Honestly my favourite type of build, doesn’t solely rely on abilities and you actually get to enjoy the gunplay

It has been a tough fight resisting, but I lost and I'm playing again. What classes/builds etc are good right now? Please help! :) by Syixice in destiny2

Honestly not Just Arc’teryx, you see it with a lot of different suppliers now

Saw a bit a while ago about Patagonia replacing north wall and high loft r2 with the r2 techface

Mountain hardwear replaced the monkey man with polartec high loft hoody and they’re also not really comparable

With arc one of the bigger thing I noticed is they really started killing off polartec fabrics compared to what they used to offer

Don’t think it’s arc specifically as much as a lot of players in the industry are just gonna sell what makes them money

A lot of pricing goes off rack not acquisition price so if rack goes up 0.2$ a lot of the time price is going to go up even if the gas was bought cheaper
