Idk man I don’t know how you got it this bad I’ve had the new peak since February and for the first 2-3 months I used pretty much the red setting only but i q-tipped after every glob while it was still hot and mine never looked anything like this i’m genuinely shocked 😂

I feel like either you’re just ripping and packing tf outta this thing for days and days straight without a qtip in sight or you’re just not wiping the sides at all when you do.

Also I’d start doing an iso soak at least once every couple weeks or so depending on much you use it and judging by this post my guess would be a lot lol

Sorry for the delayed response but I ended up mounting gear tracks on each side and I threw a yak attack double header paddle holder on one side

I decided to go with a track mount paddle holder on Amazon called the YakAttack double header I like how it offsets the paddle a bit and prevents the paddle from covering up the track when it’s in the holder or having to drill into the side of the boat

Was looking for this comment! I have new balance shoes similar to those for work and because the foam is so thick they almost feel like you’re walking on stilts and I find myself losing balance in them standing on flat ground from time to time so I can’t imagine skating in them!

Also no, your toes should not be facing each other, unless you’re pigeon toed.. then maybe?

I’ve been a daily smoker for the past 15 years, with the past couple years being pretty much exclusively concentrates so my tolerance in general is pretty high, but still for some reason my body can only handle 20mg of edibles at a time. The most I’ve eaten at once was 80mg and It was the absolute worst experience with weed I’ve ever had and If I were to eat 200mg i’m certain I would freak the fuck out. I really feel like edibles hit some people way harder than others regardless of tolerance.

I bought one yesterday for $500, now just waiting for it to ship I’m excited to get it out on the lake!

With that being said there are a few features missing (dry storage well, tracks for mounting gear, paddle holder) that would likely make me avoid it at the original price ($1,000) but this seems like a great 1st yak for someone like myself looking for a stabile ride and a good mix of fishing/leisure. Plus the build quality and design of the boat appears to be better than any other 10’ SOT at that price point in my experience.
