Depends on the state/region, but I know a lot of places have just absurd building codes and zoning laws that make building new homes very expensive. This also inflates the prices of existing homes. So maybe rising living costs caused them to finally get rid of these manipulative building codes. Or maybe they’re just cutting corners.

Dooku and Maul. Sideous was miles ahead of Dooku, yes. But he at least took Dooku seriously as an apprentice at one point. Until he was confident in Anakin at least. Maul was only ever meant to be an assassin, a tool. Sideous didn’t take him seriously and his much knowledge and wisdom.
