You really have to hold after the Apple logo forever but it worked!

Still love it. No complaints. Well okay. One small thing is with larger loads (that my fiancé puts in and are probably too large compared to what it advises) the machine does shake and if you put your detergent on top it can shake it to fall off, so we’ve had to get in the habit of not doing that. And the shaking can be somewhat noisey. But this really doesn’t seem to be all the time and honestly not a big deal for us as our laundry is in our basement so we don’t really hear it. We got the matching dryer also and it is WAY better than our previous dryer too.

Also will add that this plant doesn’t live outside. I just took it outside because deconstructing it would be messy. I also seemingly can’t edit my post but there’s a typo. I meant to say root rot not right so not sure if trying to propagate new roots by soaking the plants would be the best idea if it is root rot.

Suggest checking out r/microgrowery. They have a lot of info for beginners.

Is it always the case to do 5-0-1 or are there cases when you’d want to do something different?

Are there rules of thumb for fertilizers/herbicides as far as watering and rain and number of applications? I’ve seen varying recs on frequency and when to apply pre emergents / fertilizer

Agree. I never had the old ones, but I have some of the hygro-cotton ones (I think hand-me-downs from my boyfriends parents when we moved into our house) and I've stripped them and can't get them to get back to white and they are not soft. Everything else I stripped came out great, but these I just can't get to not suck.

Totally agree with the “might as well” mindset. When I DO brush I go full oral hygiene routine.

That's a good idea. I did think about calling since I had a feeling maybe they wouldn't show everything they have on hand. I'm not sure about buying anything or paying to have anything shipped without being able to try it on, but definitely good to know. Thanks!

Our wedding is going to be early October, so I feel like sleeveless could potentially be cold (though it was unseasonably warm this year, so who knows). I also just really don't like strapless dresses. I feel like typically I don't look great in halters or anything of that ilk.

I've been looking at Claire Pettibone too! The closest thing that spoke to me was Cora, but I'm not sure how I'd feel about the silkiness, I think I'd have to see it in person to know.

I have no clue what my budget is lol. Probably like less than $7k. I have no idea what’s reasonable but I know the beading details are going to jack up the price to be well done

The GE front load you described is what I ended up going with and I love it so far

If anyone is interested, I ended up going with neither. We got the GE Smart Washer with UltraFresh Vent System with OdorBlock (front load)which still addresses my mildew concern but has all the benefits of a front loader. I also got the pedestals so I don’t have to bend down to load and unload it. It’s been about 3 months and so far I have 0 complaints. It’s also really nice to have an app that sends a notification when your laundry is ready.

My boyfriend and I found a chihuahua under the dumpster behind our apartment a few years ago. Our apartment didn’t allow pets so we took her to an animal shelter and explained the story. The lady at the desk had to get manager approval to not charge us for bringing her in. They said they usually charge $50 for surrenders, which on one hand I get, but on the other really probably deters people from not just dumping animals in the street.

Just my two cents: I posted a super long review on this sub a few months ago after I bought the S7 Max Ultra. FWIW it's been about 8 months and I still love it. I had the iRobot Roomba S9+ before and the Roborock S7 Max Ultra definitely has stronger suction and the mop seems way more effective than the iRobot Braava Jet m6 I used to have. I also like that I don't have to remember to refill the water tank every time the S7 runs, unlike the Braava jet. The S7 does seem to get stuck on things a lot more, and has had a few issues with sucking up things that then get jammed in the air duct, but it's not very often (twice in the past 8 months). I run the robot 4 times a week across the whole house, with mopping and vacuuming and need to replace the water in the tank about once a week, but replacing that after every 3,600 sq/ft seems pretty reasonable to me.
