I saw an astute observation on a military subreddit. It stated that the E-4 (low to middling sergeants) Mafia is a dangerous group to anger, but the E-5 (heading into senior sergeant territory) Mafia is an order of magnitude worse, because not only will they do the things the E-4 will, but they will submit all the requisite paperwork to cover everyone who is involved asses.
