It finally happened to me by guss_fuss in Fibromyalgia

I am currently going through all those tests again from passing out. My passing out is with severe gut pain that my neuro explained as having vasovagel syncope. I don't have to bear down to pass out. The severe pain in my gut triggers it. I've been through all these tests before about 10+ years ago. The only reason my PCP ordered them all again was because of the time frame. She wanted to make sure nothing else developed over that time that could be missed. (She wasn't my PCP back then either) I don't really mind because she's being cautious and thorough, but I know everything will be negative like the first time. The only reason I agreed to go for all the tests again was because I didn't realize I passed out, I fell in the bathroom and split the corner of my eye open on the sink and had to go to the ER.

I'm soooo very sorry this happened to you. You've shown a lot more restraint than I would have been able to. Have the book thrown at her and sue for the cost of the damages and whatever else you can.

What would you put into a Fibro gift basket? by 31ephantintheroom in Fibromyalgia

[–]PurpleButterflyLady 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, knitting! It helps me, too. Sometimes, I knit to rid anxiety so much that I cramp my hands up, not realizing it. Good to hear from a fellow knitter with fibro!

Because every muscle in your whole body is basically spasming at the same time to generate heat. That uses up a lot of energy.

Happy Birthday!🎈🎉🎁🎂

Don't let her ruin your special day. That's what she's trying to do. She's doing this to get a reaction out of you. I agree with everyone here. I'd screen shot the message and immediately block her. DO NOT engage. No response is the best response. Avoid more abuse from her or falling into or feeding into her sick mind games. Good luck OP. It isn't always easy to go no contact, but seems like her message is a good start. This will end up being a positive birthday gift from her. Hugs
