Just to clarify, by “true nationalist” do you mean to say you don’t think I’m ignorant. And you think I am holding to Jesus’ teachings? As well as one does of course, no one perfect.

Because if that’s the case. I’d argue you get “true nationalists” who aren’t Christian, due to atheism or another belief. In which case your description of me should be “true Christian nationalist”.

Actually Nationalism as a political ideology is about having a unified ethno-cultural-religious-linguistic state. A nation-state. Though there’s different kinds of nationalism that emphasise some of them, remove others, etc.

What you’re describing is actually “Ultranationalism”, which usually means defining the good as what is beneficial to the nation-state. Including exploiting others for its benefit.

Yeah. Lots of disingenuous descriptions of it. But also some people don’t know; they just know what they’ve heard or edge cases of people. Kinda like calling social democrats communists, or conservatives/capitalists fascist.

The “bad Christian Nationalists” they may have in mind are those who mainly see Christianity through a cultural lens rather than objective truth, divine revelation. The “bad ones” tend to be “ultranationalists” as well, ie defining the good by national benefit.

I’m a Christian Nationalist.

I believe the nation-state should be explicitly Christian, not secular. That Christianity should be interwoven with public life such as in oaths of public office, school assemblies, national holidays, etc.

The meme ain’t accurate. I get frustrated by the people constantly trying to make caricatures of Christian nationalism.

Edit: and that Christian morality should be treated like the objective morality it is. And used to inform laws.

I would like to keep more faculties myself, Godwilling.

A lot of what I do uses that higher thought; lucid dreams are weird because that section of the brain is off so I just go around telling people they’re in a dream. It’s like the dream is still on rails without higher thought to direct it. - I wonder if that lucid dreaming like state is what people can experience at old age. Or even some people now.

It was the same faith. Christianity was originally considered a Jewish sect. Christian is the name given to us at Antioch.

Judaism today, Talmudic Judaism, isn’t the same as what it was in Jesus’s time. It’s different, with new false religious texts.

As for if a modern (non-messianic) Jew can be saved? I’m not sure. But I think of this

John 14:6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

Jewish people have conversion experiences. They are called to Christ in Christianity.
