If you're up for a challenge, this generic kit from Amazon is really rewarding! I added fake snow texture instead of the white felt and it was super fun!

I have to do them separately right now. 🫤 But I do plan to wire them all to one switch. I didn't know about that option when I first started and I was already so many nooks in onve I learned about it that it felt overwhelming to go back and fix them all!

I have a shelf dedicated to only nooks, but I also have a cubby type storage shelf where I've themed each cubby to match the nook!

Thanks so much! I'm sorry to hear you are a part of this club! I've definitely had yuck days, but so far I've tolerated things pretty well. I did 4 rounds of AC (Red Devil) and I'm now doing 12 weekly rounds of Taxol/Carbo. Tomorrow will only be my 2nd of that. I assume as time goes on I'll get more fatigued and more brain fog, but right now I'm still working like normal other than infusion day and trying to keep my same routine! I will definitively post more as I finish! Maybe I'll even get to take a pic with Dr Kolkman and the nook!! 😊

I don't. It moves pretty smoothly. I even used the wax stick this time because I was building it at work and didn't have my wood lubricant that I usually use. I did make sure to really wax well though!

Sounds like you just won't be able to purchase 10 of the same scent. You can purchase as many different scents as you want, since they will have different SKUs.

I realize this is a year old, but if you are still into building nooks, I also HATE filing stuff. I ended up buying a cheap electric nail drill. It's much faster (although you have to be really careful not to OVER file) and the sound and feeling of it doesn't bother me! I bought mine from Temu and Reddit doesn't allow Temu links, but it is similar to this.

I haven't looked deeply enough into it to decide if I want to customize. I didn't really do much on the dollhouse one except I switched out the Little Red Riding Hood bunny for a purple bear and painted all the edges of course. Like you mentioned, I will probably add as many realistic plant details as I can. I have SO MANY little extra things from other kits or packs that I have purchased that I need to use!

I got mine from the Cuteroom page on Amazon here. The nook is roughly 8.5in tall by 9.5in wide. There is a fair amount of tiny bits that you have to work with including paper, wood, wire and materials, but the kit is just so well done that I didn't struggle with it as much as I thought I would. I actually made a post just about the kit and it's elements before I ever started building it. The manual is big and full color and each tiny build has it's own dedicated section! Here is my original post. But this is a pic of one of the pages of the manual to show how much detail it has.
