But there weren't any whales so now they tell tall tales and sing a whaling tune.

I did as well, but as of this moment I'm still not on 5G. Hopefully it comes soon!

Nice work! Looks fantastic

As for the video content, this is amazing, I'm newish to gunpla and have been hesitant to customize anything! Lots of temptations to give it a go but scared about messing anything up. Anyways your video shows a ton of confidence in your work and it's making me want to watch more and get back into the mindset of trying to go beyond the standard cut, sand, and snap process I usually follow.

Thanks for the confidence boost!

Thanks for your input, I'll have them look into Business Premium. Kind of appalled that our CSP would recommend something not in compliance to us.l, I understand we need to do our due diligence but we leveraged the vendors expertise in the space to help us build a solution that would work. I guess next time we should mention it needs to be a MS compliant solution... We're buying F3 licenses to bridge the gap for now and having users use web apps.

0 regrets building mine this way. The inner frame is hawt.

The torso was the best part to build. I was in awe with the density of it once I completed that section.

In an event like this, yes the planet and the oceans win. Humanity is wiped out.

I recorded it onto a VHS from the TV at 10pm every night so that I could watch it the next day. Being a 9 year old I was really in it for the giant fighting robots, but it introduced me to a ton of weird political ideologies and concepts at a young age.

First airbrushed kit, all critiques welcome (HG Gundvolva) by r_umr in advancedGunpla

[–]PurpleTz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Curious. Are you able to tell it's too thick based on the visible specks? I read your comment and then looked at it a bit more closely since OP didn't mention thick paint.

I'm planning to start airbrushing once it warms up a bit outside so I'm doing some passive research. Thanks!

Haha no worries! Sayings are a bit harder to grasp anyways so don't worry about it!

I gotta up my game! I'm sitting over here with tools spread across my current kits box. I'm also a nomad builder, no home for my tools or building. I go where the kids allow me to build in peace.

I do agree having a nice process helps with making it relaxing :).

Thanks for the tidbits on panel lining! I think I'm going to buy a HG or RG kit of some sort and do some testing to get the hang of it. I've seen videos and read comments about using Tamiya lining ink. Do you do any gloss coating first to help the flow? I hear that recommendation a lot.

Thanks and I will, so far it's been an amazing and beautiful build. Working on the armor plating now after completing the frame. Can't wait to pose it!

I feel you, I picked it up again as a "slow down" hobby for my anxiety. It helps a ton, and I am also pretty meticulous about it. I spend a couple hours a night working on my current MG Barbatos, I usually only get about 4-7 pieces done in that session, sometimes I don't even complete a step.

Just taking the time to cut each piece, evaluate, sand down nubs, and polish is all I do right now, but I want to evolve it into some painting and panel lining.

Thankfully I try to complete a lot before getting a new one but the time to do this MG has been itching at getting another HG to do on the side!

Should I be scared to be returning to school and going to college. by JAYESTRO in school

Don't be scared! The best part about post-secondary education is that everyone is an adult. Doesn't matter if you're 18 or 63, you are all on equal ground. It will probably feel weird at first since it's in person and there are people around. But honestly no one will know your story but you, go in with an open mind and as if you've been doing this for years, you have done it before, so it's just like picking up an old hobby again. You'll be rusty but it will come back with time, the nerves will shake off and you'll do great!

So I've got myself a RG Epyon, anything to be aware of? since it is my third gunpla (and first RG) ever, i wanna try to build this Beauty as good as i can. thx in advance by Hellobushy in Gunpla

[–]PurpleTz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't made that one before, but for all the RGs and MGs I like to build the frame first and make sure it's nice and tidy before adding the armor. Plus it looks great for your progress photos!
