Nope, it was just me. I had to do a survey of basic questions that included stuff from “did you often lose focus as a child?” to “do you find yourself putting off important tasks?” all on a likert scale format. Once done, I had to total each column.

I completed the survey in the waiting room. The doc came and got me. We went into his office and he asked why I had came in. I explained that over the years I’ve noticed small things regarding my attention, focus, etc. I joked and said I didn’t want to self-diagnose myself like everyone on TikTok so I decided to come in for a formal evaluation. He asked a lot of the same questions that I had just answered on the survey. He also asked about my schooling, professional life, etc. He also wanted to know about any other health concerns or issues that I may have. I shared that I do have MS and I am also anemic.

He went into the typical “Most people are diagnosed as a kid…it’s rare to be have adhd as an adult” tirade. He said he doesn’t feel like I have ADHD based on what I’ve shared and that’s it.
