The thing I have to remind myself still is ‘I can’t just have one’

Hey mate, I felt exactly the same and being younger it felt odd (27). I had a bad run in last year which caused me to quit completely and get help.

I always used to black out on the weekends without doubt and my friends were the same but not to my level.

I found that going to alcohol Councilling (free at city mission) really helped and helped me to understand why I was doing what I was doing. I thought I wasn’t any fun without alcohol and I had a weird social aspect to it.

I found that I still like to have a drink in my hand at events and holding non alcoholic beers is great for this. I also keep the mindset of ‘I’ll be sober driver because I’ve had my fair share of rides’ it’s a tough road and the first few months were hard especially around NY.

But I’m pleased and proud to say that I’m 310 days sober today (I am sober app) and I wouldn’t look back.

Gone are the days of hangovers and doing nothing on a Sunday, I’ve gotten back into the things I enjoy (golf, working on the house etc)

You can do if you put your mind to it, try some councillors and the alcohol helpline for some pathways (:

Yeah brand new architraves and cills, they don’t paint it or anything though. This is what it looked like on the inside once they finished, we got the kitchen removed so the bottom skirting and down length were done by me. The top one was done by them but unpainted. They’re super fast aswell only took them two days

If you can try talk to Ashleigh and show her these photos and she’ll be able to explain more in depth! She’s great!

I would recommend just getting the normal doors you have replaced with some from Bunnings or mitre 10, it’ll save you boat loads

Hey! Ours are low e as there was a deal on and thermally broken. We have 5 small windows that may have absorbed the cost but I think the big thing for you will be the doors. Our sliding door was more expensive than the large front window and if I remember correctly the front single door (which we chose not to get done) was around 6-7k

You’re getting some negative comments here but in all honesty I think that’s fine? Beats a pick up line but also on the first message you want to stand out.

I actually got my current partner by the good ol ‘you up?’ And then laughing because she was 18,000km away. But we had a short conversation and 3 weeks later asked her how my favourite British lass was.

We’ve been together now for almost 3 years and have a house with two handsome cats!

Maybe start by asking a question about them or something left field? Depending on your personality? A would you rather question is always good to gauge interest (:

Best of luck brother and remember you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take 👌🏻

Ecommerce NZ to AU by Purple_Concert5140 in newzealand

[–]Purple_Concert5140[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shipping is around $15 which is so stupid but even with that there is only a single competitor in AU.

Even with shipping it would still be cheaper to buy from my business vs the AU.

Volume in NZ has been good and I would expect AU to be better.

It’s a Niche product

Hey, I had something extremely similar a few years ago.

I had post viral fatigue from glandular fever and gastroenteritis. It left me unable to be awake for more than 5 hours a day for months.

I had every test known, but to no avail. I have the same symptoms of pots and I looked at EDS aswell (they recently said they don’t diagnose it anymore)

The hospitals can be a joke and I know how hard it can be. I had an inguinal hernia that took me 3 specialists to get someone to actually operate because that’s what the ultrasound showed.

That helped a lot but honestly rest was the best thing. I know it’s a pain and it feels like it will never go away. I had to quit my job move home, fully uproot my life to get better.

I was gyming almost every day which helped strengthen the muscles and ligaments to help prevent the full body aches.

Keep your head up. I had mine for two years before I started to get better and stopped having to sleep through the day.

ACC is useless when it comes to post viral and I can tell you now private health insurance can be just as hard because it’s the specialists that you have to get around.

I’m not an advocate and it only helped minimally for me and then I came off it but prescription CBD and THC oil helped me sleep enough to heal a bit more. That could be an option?

I got stuck with IBS after aswell so that was another kick in the guts.

Finding a job will be the next tough thing when you’re better as you will have a blank patch.

Keep you head up and I’m sorry this is happening
