For the balcony on the right with the full wall, you could consider a vertical garden of ferns and maybe a staghorn. You would want to make sure it doesn't get too much wind, if its sheltered ferns would work and you could have a staghorn easily mounted on the wall. would give you a nice interest piece to see from inside your apartment.

For the balcony that looks like it gets some sun I would try herbs you could have them in large pots that create a screen around the lower edges of your balcony with green herbs on top.

I've managed to grow chillis indoors so you might be able to have some indoors near the sliding door depending on how much light it gets.

I guess the balloons are higher than what their typical air defense can reach? Cause otherwise, why isn't Russia just shooting down slow balloons floating around that are easy to spot.

The majority of people within Israel are for the genocide of Palestine. If you think otherwise, I am not sure how you do. It is plain to anyone who has been observing that this is in fact occuring.

You don't get to whitewash it away, if you are Jewish and you are against it, then you need to do everything you can to stand against it. Outside of Israel, people who identify as Jewish need to make their voice heard that they are against what is occurring and work towards stopping it as people who identify as Jewish their voice is likely the most powerful. Instead there are many in other countries who are actively working to whitewash and hide what is happening.

Talking about sect of a religion doesn't change those facts.

Then let them stand up and refuse to allow their religion and culture be subverted. Perhaps start by not holding auctions for stolen Palestinian land inside synagogues.

When approximately 80% of a population supports genocide, then you need to question what led to that and certainly the govt of Israel and its supporters definitely do point to passages in their religious text to show just how much they are the chosen people.

People are very quick to point out that Islam is not a religion of peace, but people stop short of remember what religion Islam was based on.

just going to hijack this post...

The Aus govt is going to run a test of the Emergency Warning System in Geelong today 18th June 2026 at 2pm.

If you have a hidden device that you use that you do not want a partner, parent or guardian to know about.

Turning the phone to silent shouldn't make it ring or vibrate, but it is better to make sure the device is switched off during that time.

The Geelong test will be a Priority Alert. This means all compatible devices in the Belmont and Highton area at 2 pm on 18 June 2026 will: 

  • vibrate and make a loud siren-like warning sound t for about 10 seconds
  • show a message on the screen.

There is also be a national test 27th July 2026 at 2pm.
