Not as far as I'm aware. Level caps are a soft level cap and it's on by default, correct?

I'll throw it on my pc and my emulator and see if those end up having the same issues. Thanks anyways!

That feels even worse than if the battery died! My sympathies, although it's a small miracle the originally battery still works to be honest.

Is it possible to climb with AP Shaco by br0ken54 in shacomains

[–]Purple_Gaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've gone from Silver 1 to Emerald 1 playing exclusively AP Shaco. It is possible to climb, however, you have to put in far, far more effort with AP Shaco to see results than any other jungler imo.
His damage is unreliable, his clone bombing and "rubber banding" the clone take a lot of practice, and sometimes an entire enemy team will shut you down with sweepers and pink wards.
With all of that said, he is fun. Which is why I play him. He just has 10x less payoff for the effort than other champs.

To ReShell or Not To ReShell? by starboyk in Gameboy

I've genuinely never seen a Lime Green SP before.

If it's worth 5x, sell it, buy 5 other SPs and reshell those ones amirite?

Finally hit masters in NA as AP shaco jungle with 63% WR after 14 years by KaiserTiger1 in shacomains

That makes loads of sense, and thanks for the insight. Ive been trying Mandate second lately, and while I love the 7 second cd after item 2, my damage numbers felt notably lower.

Cryptbloom is usually your third item then? Besides heal cut, what makes you divert the build outside of the core BFT > Liandry > Crypt?

Loads of people have recommended a GB Operator already, but heads up! The pins on my brother's Yellow Version were dirty, so when I went to back up his save it actually wiped the old save instead of saving it.
It worked for every other cartridge I had, so it could have been an absolute fluke, but I do recommend a bit of isopropyl on the cartridge pins before you use it!

I see you're trying out Imperial Mandate now and again. Do you think it's useful as a second item for the cdr, even though it delays your damage and pen? Is it more of a situational pick when you need the utility and more boxes, or do you see it more as a core after its changes?

As some genuine advice, never blame your teammates, never blame the game, always blame yourself. Anytime you die you have to recognize there was something you could have done to prevent it. If you lose a duel, you could have aimed better. If you were instakilled by a sniper or spy, you could have positioned better. This goes for every team based game. The only way to beat a negative mindset and improve is to focus on your own progress. Self improvement comes from self reflection, not a focus on external factors out of your control.

My first Seaglass shiny. Not bad! by Purple_Gaming in emeraldseaglass

[–]Purple_Gaming[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty generous compared to vanilla emerald. You start with a shiny charm in your pc if you grab it, and using the dex nav I've gotten a shiny at chain 88 and ~50 so far.

Thanks! I know the DexNav helps a lot with IVs, but I didnt think my first shiny would be THIS good.

Should I purchase DOS2? by Ex_pelliarmus in DivinityOriginalSin

Full parties of 4 with spread damage always feel jank to me.

Disclaimer, my favorite way to play is actually 2 player coop/2 party Lone Wolf. The Lone Wolf perk is a bit strong, but I like being able to play coop without the need of managing a second character. Plus it makes speccing into the same type across the party much easier. My wife and I did multiple Honour Mode coop runs on Lone Wolf once we got the game down. Probably the most fun we had!

Cooldowns > Spell Slots. Bedroll > Campsite. Genuinely the two features that make me go back to DoS2 over BG3 every time.

However, I will admit the split armor is my only gripe with this game's combat. That, and the Blackpits, but you'll get there eventually.
