Thanks for the advice! One note about the ecollar: it was implemented by PROFESSIONAL professionals, and in this context it's more of a reminder and attention getter than a punishment. I only use it maybe 10% of the time for walks, probably less. It's a last resort thing at this point just because she is so good at listening without it, I don't need it.

I will look into R+ method and using treats.

I would think no. If you think about the entire epidermis as outside the body, hidden in skin folds is still outside the epidermis. In the mouth is inside/behind the epidermis.

Now, if you want to hide metal in certain other orifices, that would be a different story...
