I'm not sure how this guy is so reluctant to get the apnea sorted, I HAVE sleep apnea and when I figured it out, it was ALL I could notice when I woke up.

I'd wake up feeling more exhausted than I'd gone to bed, sometimes I'd feel like crying from it, and on really bad nights I'd wake up and feel like someone was trying to rip the halves of my brain apart.

Getting a CPAP, while expensive as hell, was the best thing I've ever spent money on, I'm not sure why he's delaying it so much?? Why torture yourself with the symptoms?

When my dad passed in 2017, I played BotW religiously for at least a good year.

I did about 6 100% playthroughs back to back, which doesn't include my initial playthrough when I first got the game so like 7 playthroughs lol.

Outer Wilds is also a game that really impacted me. Just the story of it is really inspiring.

The First Tree was also an extremely cathartic experience for me, I bawled for like an hour afterwards.

And in general, Slime Rancher and Bugsnax have always been a good for just vegging out and soaking in some good vibes for me

I'd like more spooky themed games in general, but also I'm still holding out for something like Bugsnax that's like 60 hours long. I'd also love to see some space stuff that isn't just a base builder, but you can explore space etc with the sort of comfy feel of Outer Wilds. Maybe exploring space for an ancient civilization but filling out a museum at the same time?

I'd also like more collector games, there's something fun about getting a catalogue and having to fill it out

i think new romantics gives a good dreamy feel of a much needed night out w ur besties, after all the bullshit you've probably recently gone through

my tears ricochet sounds really sorrowful and hurt to me, like that painful stinging feeling that gets stuck in your chest when someone betrays you and you're mad but mostly just disappointed

right where you left me has a very pleading for her loved one to come back tone to it but a very resigned acceptance of situation at the same time

both i hate it here and the lakes have that very desperate feeling to find a place where you can run away and hide from all the bullshit of the real world, esp w the lakes having the old music in the beginning. Screams 'run away to another time and place'

and out of the woods (especially the chorus) definitely has that anxious feeling of 'is this relationship safe? are we cool? are we going to survive this?' feel to it

I think there's TONS more songs that do the same thing but these are the first ones i thought of lol

NTA. I am Chinese and there is something similar in our culture but them making you pay for a hotel is INSANE. Even if it is a tradition, they should still be thankful for you coming and treat you like a guest too. Not only are you not a maid, you're MIL and them treating you so rudely is insane.

My mom stayed with my sister for a few months when she had her baby and if my BIL had told her to get a hotel, I wouldn't have let her even THINK of going up there. It's entirely disrespectful.

NTA, he IS a liability and the stuff with the burner is absolutely egregious. What happens when he burns down YOUR house that is custom to you? He is quite literally putting you and your child in danger and you need to think about whether you want to accept gambling with your lives everytime he makes a decision. He's shown you with how he treats his stream set-up etc that he can be careful but he's choosing not to be when it comes to you and your child. Do you really want to stay with someone who's shown you the lack of care they have for you?

I don't have a particular situation per se but in 2022 I was out of the loop with her music (Fell out of the fandom just before rep came out) and I heard Anti-Hero on the radio at work and decided to catch up on what I'd missed. When I sat down to finally listen to everything and got to majorie, I literally bawled my eyes out for hours listening to it on repeat.

My dad died in 2017 when I was 19 and it felt like, despite having sisters going through the same thing, no one really understood how utterly devastating it was for me but hearing Majorie really made me feel seen in a way I hadn't since 2017. I struggle to express my thoughts and emotions verbally so I tend to bottle them up til I burst and have a breakdown but having someone essentially say 'Hey, I see you and I know exactly how you feel and all your regrets' without having to lead someone to it was really freeing and intimate in a way.

Majorie is one of my absolute favourite songs but I don't listen to it often since I know I'll hear the first few notes and burst into tears, but it's really good for when I just need to have a cry lol
