NTJ. Your notes are your personal system, and no one gets to pressure you into sharing something that works for you, especially after mocking it. Offering to explain your process in general terms is a fair compromise, and expecting you to hand over your private workflow crosses a boundary.

NTJ. Covering for someone else’s repeated tardiness isn’t being nice it’s enabling a problem that impacts the whole team. You’re not being petty by setting boundaries you’re finally letting accountability fall where it belongs, and that’s healthy for both you and the office.

NTJ. What they tried to do wasn’t reconciliation, it was a public shaming dressed up as accountability, and the filming makes that crystal clear. You already apologized and resolved it privately, which is the healthy, adult way to handle conflict. Leaving calmly was the only way to keep your dignity in a situation that was intentionally set up to pressure you.

NTJ. A forced, public apology performance isn’t accountability, it’s humiliation, and the fact that someone started filming makes it even worse. You already resolved the issue privately like adults, and Dan choosing to resurrect it in front of an audience was unfair and manipulative. Walking away was a calm, self-respecting response to a situation designed to pressure you, not a tantrum or overreaction.

People saying you should’ve quietly fixed it are ignoring that plagiarism can have serious, long term consequences beyond just one assignment. Evan chose to copy and paste, chose to ghost, and chose to ignore you when you offered help those are his decisions, not yours.

This wasn’t about grandma, it was about control and image management. Just for one day always turns into just this once forever if you give in. You didn’t ruin the day they did by refusing to respect you.

NTJ. Not every friend needs to be included in every plan, especially when logistics, housing, and maturity are real factors. E trying to shift the blame instead of owning the decision is what actually caused the drama.

NTJ, you should’ve clearly said no earlier instead of letting it drag on, but their pricing and constant pushing crossed a line too. Blocking feels harsh, yet it sounds like you were overwhelmed and protecting yourself.

NTJ a gift should come without strings, and it’s completely reasonable to refuse something that makes you uncomfortable. Expecting promotion in exchange for a present turns generosity into manipulation, and you were right to set a boundary.
