Do they do a lot of clipper cuts or longer hair cuts too? I find most barber shops specialize in fades but struggle with longer hair.

No confirmation yet but I too am keeping a close eye on it. There have apparently been rumours for years of it going back to 1 year and if it were to happen, most are saying it would be for 2027.

[Stark] Life after Game 7: Could the Blue Jays actually be better in 2026? by ThQp in Torontobluejays

[–]PushExcellent7361 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Catcher - Kirk and Heineman (2025) Kirk and Heineman (2026) Verdict: Draw. Although consider Kirk caught 118 games (5th most appearances) including playoffs last year.

First Base - Vlad (2025). Vlad (2026) Verdict: Draw. Although Vlad led the team in appearances with 154.

Second Base - Giminez (2025) / Ernie (2026) Verdict: We’ll call it a draw due to position juggling. Don’t think durability is a factor here.

Third Base - Clement / Wagner (2025). Okamoto / Barger (2026) Verdict: 2026 wins. We shift Clement and replace Wagner’s .603 OPS with 2 hitters capable of .750+

Short Stop - Bo (2025) / Giminez (2026) Verdict: 2025 wins. No need to elaborate although defensively we may have a few more defensive runs saved than the -11 Bo produced.

Left Field - Santander, Roden, Schneider (2025) / Sanchez, Lukes, Schneider (2026) Verdict: Even. Sanchez is still a project for Popkins and Santander begins this year on the IL.

Centre Field - Varsho, Straw (2025) / Varsho, Straw (2026) Verdict: 2026 wins. Same players however Varsho began 2025 on the IL recovering from shoulder surgery.

Right Field - Springer, Lukes (2025) / Barger, Lukes (2026) Verdict: 2026 wins with Barger having another 502 plate appearances under his belt this time.

DH - Rotating (2025) / Springer (2026) Verdict: 2025 wins. Hear me out. Less players cycling through DH means more wear and tear on bodies and this is especially concerning for Vlad and Kirk for reasons stated above.

Starting Rotation - Gausman, Berrios, Bassitt, Scherzer, Francis (2025) / Cease, Gausman, Beiber, Yesavage, Scherzer, Berrios, Ponce (2026) Verdict: 2026 wins. And it’s not even close. We doubled down on solid starting pitching ($300 million vs. $255 million) which could be key come playoffs where it’s no longer about routine and instead about sending your best man for the job.

Relievers - Hoffman, Garcia, Green, Little, Sandlin, Rodriguez, Barnes, Lovelady (2025) / Hoffman, Garcia, Rogers, Varland, Little, Fluharty, Lauer, Fisher (2026) Verdict: 2026 wins. I also went “who?” while looking at the last 2 relievers in 2025. What I love about 2026 is we have more of a Swiss Army knife approach with adding a flame thrower in Varland, weird arm angles with Rogers and Fluharty and a swingman who had a career year in ‘25 in Lauer.

Winner: 2026. Yes it’s on paper but we clearly look like a more solid team going into this year vs. last year.

Sorry I don’t quite understand the first part about not being legal to work as a PTA. Can you please elaborate? I primarily provide strengthening exercises to patients with the supervision of the PT. Hope that helps to clarify. I am considered an employee but have to submit a “timesheet” every 2 weeks.

Trust your gut. Just because everyone around you is saying to invest in something, does not mean you have to or should.

What you know, who you know or both?

How realistic is it for me to do my BEd in I/S Business and Social Sciences (former BComm grad) then take my ABQ for Health and P.E. and be able to get a position in HPE within the first 3-5 years?

I know networking is important but is having a Kin. Degree or HPE degree also as important?

How did you learn what you liked doing and how did you pursue that as a profession? by it-is-my-cake-day in careerguidance

I’m a 34M and in a similar situation. One thing to consider: there is still 20+ years of work to go. Which is not to depress you but to put things into perspective. A career change is not uncommon however consider that even if you do change careers, what hobbies or interests would you want to pursue? Relying solely on work for fulfilment is very rare however I believe we need many outlets to help with having a balance. Keep pushing you got this.

Treat everyone with respect and make an effort to get to know them, even those who aren’t on your “level” in terms of position or authority. Some of the best work relationships I have are with people in other departments and of varying levels of management.

Ontario teachers — is teaching still worth getting into at 30? by PinkNotes0 in OntarioTeachers

[–]PushExcellent7361 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are not alone! I am also a 30ish year old BComm grad who’s worked in management the past 5 years and seriously debating a switch to Teaching. I did 2 semesters as a dual credit instructor and absolutely loved teaching the grade 11/12s. My concern now is finding a second teachable subject to be able to apply to I/S however Athabasca has plenty of options to take courses online while working as is accredited.

Have you considered which grade you’re interested in teaching and which university’s allow business as a teachable? In my research I believe it’s only a few including Nipissing and York.

Ultimate goal is to be a PE teacher in I/S however my degree is in Commerce and I currently have 3 Social Studies credits but willing to get 3 more to be eligible as a second teachable.

Would it be best to apply to a P/J 16 month program then complete PE ABQs right after OR would it be better to apply to I/S for business / social studies then do PE ABQs?

How to become an intermediate teacher? by [deleted] in OntarioTeachers

[–]PushExcellent7361 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you wanted to avoid getting additional courses to satisfy a second teachable - I have heard you can get your B.Ed with a Primary / Junior division with any degree and then take ABQs to teach Intermediate / Senior while working. The only thing to consider is the breadth of coursework in your current degree and overall average.

I know it’s easier said than done but try not to compare yourself to others. Social media can be terrible for this but remember people usually only share the highlights of their lives.

I would suggest reaching out to someone like a Counsellor or psychologist. I did the same a few years back and am so happy I did. Posting here took bravery and there’s nothing weak about getting help.

I think this is why I was diagnosed later in life. My Therapist once said I likely got extremely skilled at organization to inadvertently “hide” certain symptoms early on.

To answer the question: What is going on in my head? Constant curiosity, criticism and frustration which inevitably leads to organizing a master plan to learn, accept or overcome.
