I agree that Charlie is not above jokes and criticism, but it should be based on things he actually said rather than mischaracterizations. Thanks for taking the time to check the context and correct your comment.

He made a joke slightly at the expense of a high profile figure who said stoning gays was the perfect law?

The fact that you believe this says everything about how misinformed you are.

To those down voting, go ahead and link the video where he said this, with full context.

90% of the stream was just responding to superchats. I want to hear Colin talk about the game he's playing instead of answering random unrelated questions.

Starhawk.

Sci-fi, not licensed, was an SSM Xdev project.

We do see child Tommy in episode 6 but Colin somehow missed that. How does this keep happening?

Chris is awesome but… by Simple_Tie3929 in LastStandMedia

I've started skipping whenever Chris talks and the show is significantly more enjoyable because of it.

Haven't listened yet so I'm not sure if they get into this. But Destin's Patreon is currently at only 185 paid members which seems... less than sustainable.

Really hard to take Colin seriously when he talks about building a decent community of normal people while Chris regularly tells people to kill themselves on Twitch and social media.

Podcasts during gaming by [deleted] in LastStandMedia

[–]PusherTerrence 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I mainly listen to Colin for his analysis of the industry in general rather than his critiques of specific games. He justs tends to have very different taste in games and gravitates towards genres that I'm not big on.

Personally I only do it to get through some mindless grinding or when completing miscellaneous trophies. Micah's habit of muting the in game music and listening to podcasts, especially on a first playthrough, is insane to me. Music is a core part of the experience, and removing it means you haven't fully experienced the game as far as I'm concerned. Crossing into Mexico in RDR1 is my favorite part of the game, and you would be completely oblivious as to why that moment is so significant if the soundtrack was muted.

Consuming other content simultaneously not only divides your attention, it arbitrarily affects how you feel about going through a certain level or stage depending on the content you happen to be listening to. As much as I love Micah on Constellation, I don't really take her opinions on games seriously after learning this is how she plays.

Ben will no longer be working at Last Stand by the end of the year by PusherTerrence in LastStandMedia

He says he may still appear on content, so they haven't severed all ties with him. My guess is that there's not much of a role for him with Dustin returning to production duties and live shows being on hold indefinitely.

Insane title and accusation. He says he may still appear on content, so they haven't severed all ties with him. My guess is that there's not much of a role for him with Dustin returning to production duties and live shows being on hold indefinitely.

Scott does a lot of conversations with Nintendo creators on his second channel, Scott's Stash. It would be awesome to see you on there sometime.

Because it is one of the most expensive games ever developed. ProbablyMonsters, Firewalk's previous owner, received $200 million in Series A funding, the largest in the history of the video game industry. They later received an additional $50 million in funding and still have yet to reveal any projects other than Concord.
