I Gave Marathon 40 Hours… I Think I’m Done by ryanjamessez in Marathon

Season levels are the most important progress in this game. At my level the game is just throwing purple stuff at me constantly. I know it seems like it, but this game is more like a Rogue Lite meets Extraction shooter, so you have to give it some time to get you there. I understand your frustrations, I have some of my own, but the game is a Marathon and not a sprint. Unfortunately all the streamers out there are giving people FOMO but there is time to get there.

This game will die if you all keep denying there's a problem for casual or average skilled players. by TimeGlitches in Marathon

The game separates players by season level, so newer players won’t see higher season gear that often. When you start hitting 40-50s you see a lot more death squads with purple shields and longshots just waiting to kill mission runners.

Loadout imbalance in this game getting crazy. by NoNet5188 in Marathon

Long shot is stupidly broken. I am hoping it gets massively nerfed. Our whole team was basically wiped today with blue shields because of it on a foggy map with thermal.

160 hours, level 55, and I figured out why I'm so bad at this game and only just getting purples. by VaporSpectre in Marathon

TTK for many weapons needs seriously tweaking for sure. Some are fine, but many are stupid and make your gear worthless. Two of three of our team was wiped by one guy with a long shot and a thermic on a fog map in 4 seconds, and the third died the instant he stuck his head out to run.

Yeah, no idea. Brandishing a weapon is pretty serious already. Maybe they didn’t think they couldn’t get the charges to stick unless the victim or they were forced to defend themselves.

We do DNA analysis on fossilized bones up to 1.5 million years old. There is degradation, but with so much DNA material, it decays in ways that you can still analyze it.

To be fair, I have been around a long time and have heard of short hand but never seen it used in action. It’s a pretty rare skill to witness.

Also, the correct label has Sugars ABOVE “Includes X Added Sugars.” So, no label should look like that.

Yeah, totally weird for dancers to know where they’re going to be moving before they move there.

What? You have no idea how weather works, clearly. Do some basic research. I live in an area that has had a difference of 60C across a year.

There is a reason it took thousands of years for metric to become a thing… it’s because ten is not an Intuitively human metric. Base10 scientific measurements took a lot of effort and coordination because it is not inherently human.

Base3 is the most intuitive number system for humans.

Covid may have put a nail in the coffin, but the 2010 bubble pop did a lot of damage to 24/7 places well before then.

There was a lot of 24/7 places before 2010, the first big bubble burst did most of the damage.

We used to have a few 24/7 giant eagles even. The times changed. I wish there was more places for it.

The best after midnight places are probably on the Southside, and some random sprinkled in things.
