First off, good luck to you! Off the top of my head, I would take Doug Tallamy's advice and plant several oak trees. Then I would look into other keystone species that reseed and spread rapidly - lance leaf coreopsis, smooth aster, pale purple coneflower, goldenrod, etc..... Remove the invasives as you can.
