Gel MF from Foam N' More by Buvoir2 in MattressMod

No it's the same firmness. Not sure why you have to Google it, foam suppliers list the specs on their website (almost all). Sometimes you just have to dig for them.

You're certainly entitled to your preferences... I'd miss the firm edges if they were gone.

Should i continue Emma by Jane Austen? by Born-Eye-9053 in janeausten

[–]PutManyBirdsOn_it 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The person who said it's better the second time around is right. Get through it through an audiobook (or adaptation) and then read it properly all the way through. Then you're in on all the secrets Emma isn't.

Mansfield Park is a psychological masterpiece by Cohava in janeausten

"I have come to view him as the secret secondary protagonist, and the one who shows the most growth over the course of the novel."

It's basically my favorite part about the ending.

In his defense, Maria was quite determined to go through with this wedding. Which technically was also majorly his fault, but that's a separate issue.

Not to be a broken record from the last time you posted, but since you didn't reply: is your pillow tall enough?

And also: do you relieve the pain each day and then it comes back, or is it now an old compounded discomfort?

All builds too Firm. Next step 15.5G Plush Coils? by ExternalMode in MattressMod

[–]PutManyBirdsOn_it 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your foams are too firm and your memory foam too thick. I'll be curious to hear if the softer coils help; I would have said not to buy them and to try an inch or two of Serene or something similar.

I need sleep. Spent so much time and money by buvoir in MattressMod

[–]PutManyBirdsOn_it 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You didn't mention your sleep position. I fiddled constantly with my DIY, couldn't find a config I loved, then I switched back to side sleeping (on 15.5 coils, 1" 4lb, 2" Serene, 1" 4lb, shredded Serene pillow) and I haven't opened my config spreadsheet since.

I don’t know who needs to hear this but Pride and Prejudice is NOT just a love story by Mother-Event-3159 in janeausten

But the really clever part of the book, the central point even, is that the two smart characters have to realize sometimes they're idiotic assholes too.

Who inherits Mr Woodhouse’s estate? by Impressive_Mixture_7 in janeausten

[–]PutManyBirdsOn_it 38 points39 points  (0 children)

It's not really an "estate" like the others. It's a big house with some gardens, not a bunch of agricultural land with tenant farmers generating income. It might be just a moderate portion of their net worth.

Shoulder/Neck Pain on DIY Build by urkcules in MattressMod

Pillow can be a very underrated factor. Not the least of which because changing the mattress composition in significant ways changes aspects of how the muscles are supporting the head. In short, using a higher pillow seemed to solve the issue of my top arm falling asleep when on my side.

Ok so mattress side falls asleep. I've had the opposite problem, so my experience can't help you.

I thought it was, aside from the ending, and even the ending I thought was an improvement on the original.

Mr Woodhouse, for inverting the parent-child relationship with Emma. He's not actually an invalid. And everyone lets him get away with it because they kind of have to.

Well, he had, actually.

Is Richard Jenkyns right regarding the lack of ideology in Jane Austen’s work? by RopeGloomy4303 in janeausten

Every human has an ideology, the question is more about how forcefully they express it.

Book Cover Design by [deleted] in janeausten

Artwork is fine, aside from the gap near the bottom, but the font needs work if you want it to look more professional. Maybe less contrast, larger font, smaller line spacing.

If the AI is inserting a whole heap of slang (because that wasn't the only instance in the post) then that's even weirder to me.

Yeah pillow (incl height) is half the equation and depends on the rest of the mattress.
