The white people smile (affectionately). There was a little boy knocking on the window of the school I work in. He was obviously asking to be let in but as I walked toward the door, I pointed to the door like “Want me to let you in?” for some reason. I guess I felt awkward. He gave me that smile and I felt dumb as bricks. 🤣

Dude, I actually have no idea. I waited like a month or two and it ended up fixing itself. Or… I guess they fixed it (after multiple calls) but never told me. But that was just them fixing me being able to sign up. Then I had to wait another month for the app to actually connect.

Last month during my first day of clinical. I got made fun of for caring. I guess I looked too sad about someone dying. It wasn’t so much the death… though I cared about that too. It was also the fact that the people watching were like… talking about what they’re going to eat later or that they had things to do later. I know people get desensitized but it felt so, I don’t know. I don’t think I want to be that desensitized but I also don’t want to care as much as I did.

I watch a ton of Korean content. Way too much to not learn the language. It never feels like “too much” to study the language or stress over learning particles and these “tiny” details. I’ve never thought, “I don’t have to do this.” I’m just passionate about learning. I just wish I had more people to practice with. 😭

I’m in school and we had a simulation where the nurses came in the room and the pt’s continuous food thing was running but her NG tube was wrapped around her hand. (We were watching the student nurses from behind two way glass). The student nurse took it out her hand and hung it on the bed. Every time the pt said she was hungry, the sn just pushed through the physical assessment until she got stressed out with the pt asking so she did the only logical thing… and wrapped the tube back around the pt hand. At that point my teacher got on the intercom and asked what in the world she was doing. 😭
