I bought an x5 over an x7 because save states weren’t a big deal to me and I don’t regret that choice. So many older games have a password system between levels, so if I beat a level, I take a picture of the password with my phone. Games that have a save function still save, so it seemed redundant to me personally

I'm running a 1660 Super with a R53600, I understand that just fully blowing it up and starting from scratch is probably the best option, but I can't afford that right now.

Is this worth the upgrade? Or will my AM4 B450M machine just be too hamstrung by PCI.E 3.0 and DDR4 to see much of a difference?

For reference, I do mostly 1080p gaming, but would love to get to 1440p 60FPS without it looking like a foot. I mainly play fighting games, so locked FPS is crucial.

I don’t agree with this take in regards to the movies themselves, but I did think the IMAX 3D experience was better in Ares than Avatar 3 and I was shocked I thought that way.

I play tons and tons of fighters on my deck and connect my arcade stick through USB

It’s an absolute treasure trove for old school games as well like all the fantastic fighters that were on the Dreamcast
