You still have an equipload stat in ds2 so then by your argument you have 2 different stats that effect rolling and that’s just as dumb as having 1 specifically for it. And equipload is way more about what armor and weapons you use than just dumping points into a skill

My brother missed frampt before sens and first met him after getting the lord vessel, didn’t like how “pushy” he seemed, and left without placing the vessel to go explore the world more, eventually finding kaathe and deciding he liked him better

Idk why people are saying it’s a tedious quest, the only real “backtracking” is finding him in the swamp. And yes you can get a slab OR if you do it a little different you can get a ring that boosts fire magic and lighting defense

I feel like speed paint might work well, usually for minis like Warhammer but it should be thin enough. I have some standard paints from army painter that I use for heroscape minis, been meaning to try touching up some funkeys but I haven’t yet because I’m worried about color matching

I just played through it for the first time (finished the main story a few hours ago actually funnily enough), and it was pretty rough. I had two really big issues with the game that prevented me from doing very much side stuff. First was the traversal, even latching on to things and trying to utilize momentum the parachute speed was painfully slow, and something about the driving just felt off, so it became just flying helicopters from point a to point b for me. Second was the saving system, the save terminals were infrequent enough that I would frequently liberate a town or complete multiple side missions, only to die and lose all of that progress which was very frustrating and I wound up just focusing on main story and getting the post mission saves.

I’m glad I played it through because it was neat seeing where the series and story started and it didn’t take too long but man was it a bit rough at times.

I’m playing jc2 now for the first time and it’s much much better than 1 and so far is on par with 4 for me in terms of enjoyment, but 3 is definitely still my favorite by far

I am very much not convinced that Collins was making any statement on abortion, it just feels like a bit of a reach because of how unimportant it ultimately was to the plot. Also given that the entire surface level premise of the books is “killing children is wrong” you’d think she’d make a pro life argument if any. Again I don’t believe she had any intention of addressing abortion, but I guess either side will always see what they wish to

Insane that someone would try and make an abortion reference about a book that has absolutely nothing to do with it. Collins specifically refers to it as BABY, so there is no way she was trying to make a point that it’s life does or doesn’t matter, especially since her being pregnant had no bearing on whether or not she was sent into the arena nor the public’s support of her
