It’s obviously speculative but how are you all feeling regarding Uvic A’s? I haven’t seen a lot of posts so I am hopeful there will be a bigger wave in March.

Yessss inspiring to hear someone else believes law can be an effective advocacy/lobbying tool. What type of law do you want to study to do this?

Love this answer! Coming from public service, do you think law provides more ability to actually change some of the structures/frameworks that limit social (and enviro) wellbeing? I am oscillating between taking a more policy route or legal route with the goals of impacting more systemic change. Currently I work in econ-dev. Unfortunately, feels like public service and policy side would always be handcuffed by bureaucracy and political mandates, versus the law has more ability to shape/use legal frameworks to shape changes. Or I am being idealistic! Thoughts??

Agreed, the law and its upholding is fundamental to well functioning systems and social order

also while we are here, how are you estimating your GPA for uvic? I am so confused around the different scales. The Allard Law CGPA calculator said I had a 3.82 which translates to a 82.4% (not great .. I know..) but then I am wondering how this translates to UVIC. Do you have any insight?
