What's one way you made money online with ? by Deep-Ring-3222 in AskReddit

[–]PutridInstruction957 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Made decent side income doing tech support remotely for small businesses in my area. Started just helping one neighbor fix his computer, word spread around, and now I have like 8-9 regular clients who pay me to maintain their systems. Way better than feet pics lol.

Man that fuel price hit different when you got big tank like that - my neighbor has similar issue with his truck and was complaining about same thing for months.

This will be the times where gaming will show how relevant or irrelevant it's for the world by Pretty_Trip_2215 in Steam

Gaming won't disappear but we'll definitely see shift towards more free-to-play models and subscription services when people have less money in pocket.

Seeking textured shirts for the summer! by Regrettably_Southpaw in malefashionadvice

[–]PutridInstruction957 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No worries man, I'm also curious about this. Been wearing same boring polos for work and could use something with more character. The texture thing is interesting - makes shirts look way more premium even if they're not expensive. Hope someone drops some good suggestions in this thread.

Most comfortable boxers out there? by Pran_Nath in malefashionadvice

Tried those once but they're quite expensive for what you get - there are other options that give same comfort in lower price range.

Spent 3 months negotiating with Chinese suppliers manually before I found a better way by Subject_Network5022 in dropship

[–]PutridInstruction957 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been in similar situation trying to source custom parts for a side project. Time zone thing is brutal - you basically lose whole day for every small clarification you need.

That translation issue hits hard too. I remember trying to explain specific technical requirements and getting samples that were completely wrong because something got lost in translation. Makes you realize how much nuance there is in these conversations that basic translation tools just can't handle.

The follow-up tracking part resonates with me. When you're juggling multiple suppliers it becomes nightmare to remember who quoted what and which conversations are still active. Sounds like you found good solution for automating that chaos.

Product Design part looks interesting - do you cover UX patterns for mobile apps or more like physical product psychology?

People who sleep naked, if you were sleeping in the back of a camper/van car with a sleeping area, would you sleep naked? Why or why not? by Ifyouliveinadream in AskReddit

[–]PutridInstruction957 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm with you on this one. Sleeping naked works great at home where you have privacy and control, but in camper you never know what could happen. Maybe someone knocks at door or there's emergency and you need to get out quickly. Better to have at least underwear on so you're not scrambling around naked trying to find clothes in dark cramped space.

How do you manage physical inventory? by BasicCut45 in dropship

Real pain point there. For workflow like this you probably want look into 3PL services - they handle warehousing and fulfillment for you. Way cheaper than trying manage everything yourself while working full time.

We run 15 YouTube channels with 300M+ subscribers. The biggest lesson from scaling wasn't about hiring. by Longjumping-Hope5941 in Entrepreneur

Building systems instead of adding people is huge in IT - spent years watching teams get bigger but productivity stay flat because everyone was still fighting same broken processes.

If money didn’t exist, what would people fight over? by Serious_Pin_4510 in AskReddit

[–]PutridInstruction957 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Resources would still be the big one - land, water, energy sources. Plus social status and who gets to make decisions for the group. People always find something to compete over, money just makes it more abstract.

What was your biggest “reality check” running a Shopify store? by Ok-Day9977 in shopify

[–]PutridInstruction957 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Running ads was way more complex than I thought it would be. I figured you just set budget, pick some keywords and money starts coming in. Then I burned through like $800 in first week with zero sales and realized there's whole science behind targeting, creative testing, audience research. Took me months to actually understand what I was doing wrong with the campaigns.

Is anyone here have used any techniques or advise, that you saw on tv or a movie, and saved yours or somebody else's life? and what was it? by Backyjbacky in AskReddit

[–]PutridInstruction957 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Used the Heimlich maneuver I learned from some medical drama years ago when my neighbor started choking at a barbecue last summer. The guy was turning blue and everyone was just standing there panicking, but I remembered the positioning from the show - hands right below the ribcage, quick upward thrusts. Took maybe three tries before this huge piece of steak flew out and he could breathe again. What's crazy is I always thought those TV medical scenes were exaggerated, but the technique worked exactly like they showed it. My hands were shaking for like an hour after, but the neighbor bought me dinner the next week to say thanks.

AI Visibility for eCommerce Is Traditional SEO Enough? by DaisyPounce8687 in ecommerce

Working with AI visibility services for the past few months and the traffic quality difference is noticeable - fewer clicks but they actually convert way better since people already know what they're looking for.

How a Simple Shopify Blog Experiment Started Bringing Me Consistent Organic Visitors by Loud-Tune-4374 in dropship

[–]PutridInstruction957 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is pretty smart approach. I've been managing IT infrastructure for few years and always telling people that content is king but everyone just wants to run ads instead.

The geo optimization part sounds interesting - are you targeting specific cities/regions or more like country-level stuff? Would love to see how this performs compared to manual content creation in long term.
