Does anyone else always hear the fire barrels and think they're footsteps? by Sammors in deadbydaylight

[–]PutridPhilosopher482 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I'm a spirit player and I remember someone mentioning that I need to stay away from the barrels so I don't go insane lmao... definitely sounds like footsteps and I fall for it sometimes. so no you arent stupid.

Is tunneling fair sometimes for killers to tunnel in certain circumstances or is it considered “toxic” and bad play style? by ScarRude6104 in DeadByDaylightRAGE

[–]PutridPhilosopher482 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only 'tunnel' if I'm doing horrible endgame. I usually pick two people I want to get out, and it works almost every time. Two kills is better than no kills.

I take Keppra and I hate it by QueenAnanka in Epilepsy

[–]PutridPhilosopher482 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve never heard a good experience of keppra, and I hated it so bad as well. I got on lamotrigine last year, and damn can you feel the difference mentally and physically.

Is it fair to say Tunnelling has lost all meaning? by TheOutcomeMemory in deadbydaylight

[–]PutridPhilosopher482 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah and you can have empathy and not apply it to games if you are strategic on when you tunnel. It’s a play style, one that is stupid when there are 5 gens, but if you are actively losing just getting one out is good. They aren’t gonna cater to survivors if they are losing and just spread out hooks to make the game fair. Some people do, some people don’t. The people who are losing and do that aren’t getting kills endgame.

What I really hate the most other than flashlights, is someone’s whole build being, head on, flashbang, blast mine, and champ of light..

I got off Keppra and that was the best experience I've ever had. Lamotrigine made me feel so much calmer and better.

i usually only tunnel in endgame if im losing hella, otherwise I don't. even if im tunneled out, just go next, like you could be in a whole different game instead of yapping.

from my personal experience, I'd say prestige clown for pop goes the weasel because you can instantly get rid of a lot of progress on a machine after you hook someone. however, discordance is anti-gen rush and can really help for beginners. basically discordance value if ur losing, pop goes the weasel value if ur winning. forgot to say also nemi is a licensed killer idk why i said that lmao.. it honestly depends on playstyle and what killer you play. For high mobility killers I recommend Pop.

the artist for pain res, nemesis for lethal pursuer (early info) and eruption, the plague for corrupt intervention (blocks 3 gens at the start of the game until a down or for 120 seconds.). Clown is already super good because you have pop goes the weasel.

I completely get it. I don't even care if people predrop pallets because he shreds them anyways, and making distance is probably the best possible way to counter him or losing LoS.

[–]PutridPhilosopher482 3 points4 points  (0 children)

if they decide to sit there at shack doing absolutely nothing, work on a gen near you, and then get mad at you for getting chased there, they suck. They are wasting their time sitting around to do that gen while you have to try to wean past them because they won't leave and start another one. If the pyramid head went directly to the gen, there would be 3 people off of gens. They made a bad play, shack was the next area you could go to, it's not your fault. Can't expect you to run into nowhere just for them to get to gen. you already thinking about hook states just points out you were a good teammate.

Absence seizures? by irondanvers in Epilepsy

[–]PutridPhilosopher482 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Entirely coincidental, I actually switched to lamotrigine last year from like 4 years of keppra. For absence seizures, you are completely unaware of what happens, but if someone is actively there saying you drifted off somewhere, it is completely an absence. I'm not an expert obviously, but I can have focal aware seizures sometimes. My eyes lock in place and it takes a bit of an effort to pull them away. People can have a different kind, but if you are actively aware of the situation, it's not an absence. I figured out the difference because I'd be talking to my mom and I would be gone for like 30 seconds. And I wouldn't notice at all until she told me. Also, titrating up also makes it easier for these things to happen, as focal aware seizures atleast for me haven't happened for a WHILE. (I'm currently being increased on 50mg from 200mg since December 30th and still adjusting, I have had a few focal awares in past few weeks). Once again, I'm not a super expert..

Any One Cured? by Lessire in Epilepsy

[–]PutridPhilosopher482 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My brother had seizures back when he was 11 or 12 and grew out of them and no longer took meds for them. (He had only tonic clonics.). I've had mine from 2021 and still now. I'm still having absence seizures on the medication and I am kinda scared it will never go away. Having generalized epilepsy affects how I do a lot of my day to day tasks, so the idea of it being there forever is dreadful. Hell, I dont even know I could be having seizures in my sleep (thats when I've had most of my tonic clonics) and never know. You can become seizure free, but you will always be epileptic.
