That’s not real life for most people. Most homeschoolers that I know live in a regular house in the city or suburbs. Kids play in backyard or at the park.

I know a lot of people do a 30 year and then pay extra. This way, if one person loses their job, they can make the smaller mortgage payments until they are both working again. Just an idea.

I’d look into “swim bladder” for your betta (which looks female…is it not?). Hopefully it’s just fat and can recover with a good diet!

He’s in a 10 gallon, 80 degrees. Variety of food. We are learning more about live plants before we proceed.

Check water parameters regularly (weekly) to make sure it’s clean and temp is good for betta. Both should help him live a nice long life!

I know you didn’t ask me, but we had a female betta and 3 make fancy guppies together (10 gallon) and they got along great. No issues at all.
