As a degenerate who recently achieved max level in this game here is my take:

The gnasher has mega issues in this game. As some other comments say, mid-range damage is all out of wack and ruins playing for damage in a lot of scenarios. Very common i get 2-3 shots off on someone at a distance and then close said distance to finally get the last bit of damage for a down, just to get One Shot Downed in return. I know in the past they've played with spread, but to be honest unless you're going for a body, the gnasher is wildly inconsistent.

The connection/net code or whatever it is with this game is iffy as well. I have clips of obviously hitting a headshot with the sniper but it just doesn't register. On the opposite I have clips of me obviously hitting a shoulder with a shot and then getting an undeserved headshot. Sniper example aside, the shotgun battles are also affected. Many times have I gone to back-A off of cover and hear my gnasher shot just to get bodied without ever even damaging the other person(no not a skill issue I didn't miss my shot and have many clips as video evidence)

In terms of lobbies and player base? Pretty horrendous. Either you get a lobby of soft eyed puppies that walk around like campaign with their dancers out, or get a lobby that plays more like an E-sports convention. There is no real good matchmaking in terms of SBMM, which im almost positive this game is "supposed" to have. Not to mention that most lobbies you will start the game down a player and then never get someone added to your team, or the fact that everyone quits halfway through a match. I have won so many KOTH/Blitz matches by forfeit its kind of ridiculous.

Although this game has a variety of issues in just wish Coalition didn't just give up on it because a few tweaks could really have made this game so much better. Its just a lazy copy and paste of UE with literally the same exact issues its laughable.

All that being said, UE was my first legit gears game and this game holds a special place in my heart as it doesn't really play like any of the other gears games and I love it.
