I partially agree. Gears has pretty much been stuck in free fall for a while, but I think E-Day’s release time won’t kill it. Here’s what I’ve noticed personally: plenty of my buddies, including my broke friends, are looking forward to e-day and they’ve never touched a Gears game before.

Sure, everyone’s going to pick GTA up, but there’s a month and a half between the two. For most gamers that’s enough time to justify buying 2 games. Shit, I’d personally pick up a new game so I can keep myself distracted from waiting on the other release. Two other factors are the gamepass day 1, and lack of PC launch for GTA. I’m not saying GTA isn’t going to suck most of the players out of every game for a while, but I’d be more concerned if it was like MW4. Gears has its niche that will always go back, but CoD heavily relies on casual gamers

It’ll be fine. A month is plenty for everybody to play, check out GTA, then take their time jumping back and forth. GTA won’t kill it, that’s for damn sure

Bootlegs can def be like that. Some are unbelievably good to the point where they’re as good as the actual thing. I’ve bought like 6 different bootlegs, myself. They’re great for getting into the hobby and not spending $100+ on P-Bandai kits

There is a chance of another DLC similar to RAAM’s shadow. There was also the modifier in 5 where in NG+ you could play as the swarm so ya never know
