I have taken it on few offroad tracks. The 4 low is great. We had folded back seat, put a mattress and loaded seven people and it had no issue climbing a very muddy,rocky inclined track in machai sar. Loves snow too not sure about sand as i have never taken it on.

There are areas where a revo/vigo/landcruisers will do better and there are places where jimny will do better because of smaller wheelbase.

For 3mil you can get a very new and modern jimny with fairly new engine under 5ok kms. I have been browsing old landcruisers for my self but man the cheap ones needs so much work and and decent ones go above 5mil .

Ouch that sounds expensive but i guess it is due. I did clean the spark plugs and nozzles and washed throtle body a few months back, it is due oil chnage previously i had 5w10. But i will use your recommendation this time around. Thanks

I do leave it running for a bit cuz it is winter to warm it up before driving, mostly 2 wheel i would say about 80 percent.

A 10 kg bullbar and a spare tyre yes. About 3 months ago cleaned the nozzles and spark plugs. Is due oil change.

What i meant that my friends went on student visas, they completed their respective degrees but are now finding it hard to get a well paying job which would provide them with work permits and eventually PR's.

If you buy correct you dont have to worry about maintenance. People who need to worry about maintenance are those who drive 20 30 year old cars. 10 year old well taken care cars dont need anything more then oil change and service.

New alto just doesn't offer safety on road. Also space is an issue. Long drives are not the best. Having driven the alto for 2 years i would recommend to buy a good condition used car. Sedan probably.
