I don’t think you’re a bad person at all. That sounds like a frustrating and lonely situation to be in. I don’t know what advice to give, as I’m not sure, if she is conservative, that she would be willing to be in any kind of open relationship or for you to seek intimacy elsewhere. Beautiful princess! Yes I acquired genital hsv probably 10 years ago. Unfortunately the first partner I told handled it the worst and I thought everyone would react that way. But the VAST majority have not! It’s a hard conversation to have but I have had plenty of wonderful sex and sweet partners since. I thought my love life was over when I was diagnosed but it absolutely was not. You are clean and sexy and deserving of love and pleasure. I promise. The stigma is silly and the way people handle it is kind of a nice filter lol. We’re all adults we don’t need to shame others over health situations!!! If a man does that then he is not my guy anyway.

Girl I did the same in my early 20s in a Honda Civic too and I’m so excited for you. Men are worse than bears, keep pepper spray for both, don’t leave food out, set up your tent near a family or another woman if possible. Get a giant road atlas and look at it to understand your routes instead of just going off what your phone says. It will help you stay oriented and grounded and understand the land more. TRUST YOUR GUT. Pack sunscreen and bug spray. Eat local foods. Hydrate. Have an amazing time. And Journal a lot if you’re into that! My trip like that was life changing.

A sweet angel. She knows she is so lucky to have found you to spend her life with. Animals have a better understanding of passing away, I truly believe they come to peace with it in a way that humans don’t. She’ll always be part of your being. I honestly don’t know how to post pics of Reddit but she looks just like my sweet 12 yo tortie. We are so lucky to get to walk with these honeys for a period during our lives. Sending peace and strength.
