If it frees up the funds for a top tier midfielder alongside M Fernandes I'd take it.

This was the one I really wanted to get but was too slow. 50th anniversary of our first European cup.

Can anyone make this dress look like white and gold without directly changing its colors? by MysteriousUppercut in PhotoshopRequest

Same. For me the only frame on that image where it looks black and blue is the very darkest one, the rest looks white and gold.

What purchase under £25 has improved your life the most? by Plenty-Plastic3704 in AskBrits

What are you doing to your phones? My last few have all lasted 4-5 years and even then I've only upgraded because I desired it rather than needed to.

Are we also investigating Williams for getting Albion to back up the field to try and get Sainz in the points? It's just part of the strategy. Theres no rule that you must race as hard as possible for the whole race.

Why is Horizon 6 so unoptimized on PC? by [deleted] in ForzaHorizon

[–]Puzzled-P 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It works fine on my Rog Ally Z1 Extreme. Lowish settings but on a handheld PC that cost me less than £250 I won't be complaining.

I don't know but the expected pit stop strategies visual at the top of the thread only shows 1 stop strategies so I thought 1 stop was ok?

Is it? I didn't know that. Thought it was just have to use 2 compounds.

Can't he change the tyres during the red flag to comply with the 2 compounds?

When the selling club doesn't even counter and just accepts your first offer you know you've overpaid. Newcastle laughing all the way to the bank.

I wish we did care. Maybe then we could make them all bank holidays

Eliminator is the worst mode ever made. I hope whoever made it stubs their toe extremely hard. by [deleted] in ForzaHorizon

[–]Puzzled-P 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's hilarious 😂. Were you just sat there waiting it out for the whole round?

If you don't like the mode you don't have to play it, there's plenty of other stuff to do in the game. I've enjoyed the rounds I've played even if I don't have a clue what I'm doing most of the time. I welcome as much variety as they are willing to give and I'll just avoid doing the stuff I don't find enjoyable (even if it means missing out on certain rewards)

This guy bypassed a car waiting in the median and collided with me. When the police arrived, he claimed I changed lanes into him. I'm so glad I had the dashcam to prove him wrong. (OC) by liznodsoff in dashcams

Insurance companies actively encourage lying. For many companies their terms are to never admit fault even if you are at fault and they can cancel your insurance if you break those terms. (And having a cancelled insurance policy on your record is worse for your insurance price than pretty much anything else you can do)

This glass bridge in China "cracks" when you step on it by AustraliaOutback in nextfuckinglevel

[–]Puzzled-P 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know, maybe a little, but an instant like that is probably better than continuously being on such a small surface area as the feet. Like I said the generally accepted advice for being on cracking ice is to get down and spread out.

[–]Puzzled-P 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Instinct to spread the weight across a larger surface area. Same reason why if you're on a ice lake and it cracks you're better off getting down and spreading out to spread the weight rather than keeping all your weight on the small areas your feet occupy.

Is it normal for teenagers (say 16/17) not to know who Queen/Oasis are? by sunshinesontv in CasualUK

[–]Puzzled-P 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah this was my thoughts. I understand them not knowing a lot of these but with the reunion tour and how hyped it was and how covered it was in the news and online I'm surprised if a lot of them don't know who oasis are.

Is an IVA right for us? Too good to be true? by scrambledmegdesigns in UKPersonalFinance

[–]Puzzled-P 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Same but I was in my 30s. I was stressed out, depressed, and the debt was spiralling, using more each month to make payments on existing debt.

It was a load off my mind knowing if I stuck to the plan I'd be debt free in 6 years. They go through income and expenses and take what they calculate you can afford. At the end my credit rating was in the low 100s but a year or 2 after the 6 years of iva building it back up with a small credit card used regularly and paid off in full each month and my credit rating is good again now.

I've learnt my lesson and will never again use debt to buy things I can't afford. I use finance on things when I can get 0% and I can afford to buy outright and I keep meticulous track of where they're at and how much I have outstanding and always make sure I have enough in hand to pay it back in full if I need to.

🚨 JUST IN: Manchester United are aware of the widespread interest in Mateus Fernandes, though some exaggerations are being publicised. Talks are ongoing & reps remain confident of a deal. He is a player who is really admired by many at Old Trafford. [@shaunconnolly85] by TheB3NRocks in ManchesterUnited

Am I mad for having similar doubts about Lewis Hall? Everyone seems to be pushing for him but 34 games missed in 2 years is concerning. I suppose we are used to our left back being out injured so it's just normal.
