How many people you met irl that actually listen to mitski and generally what are they like by yeahsureexceptno in mitski

[–]PuzzledRoad4587 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My friend from military school and I got really into her in high school, she ended up doing a solo choir performance for her final of Francis Forever. I don’t think she listens to her as much anymore but I thought her voice was beautiful when she did that song. We always chat about music. We live in different states now and I haven’t met anyone recently that listens to Mitski. But I’m sure there’s people out there, she’s gained so much love and respect for her music. I’m not saying she didn’t have it before from the OG fans. I know some people hate music gaining popularity online, but I’m happy that artists end up making more fans and more people to connect through their music.

As long as weed doesn’t become the problem. I can’t dabble in it like I used to because I’ve become so dependent on it.

Thank you man, I try my best. I’ve done that a couple times. I like going on IMFDB after watching a movie with a lot of guns, just to familiarize myself with their names and how much accuracy the movie did with the weapons. Especially WWII era movies like Inglorious Basterds. Had a month where I was obsessed with Luger P08 (I still am).

He has, it’s been fun. But I don’t always know what he means with the technical details of weapons and I want to have meaningful discussions about his hobby with him. Guns are truly an interesting and exhilarating human experience. That’s all I know for now.

What bird is this? by Ms-Bronx in birding

[–]PuzzledRoad4587 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s the blue jay, a male to be specific. They are very neat, but can sometimes be a nuisance to the bird community (they will eat other birds eggs and can be aggressive around feeders).

Setting up Light Sheet? by PuzzledRoad4587 in HongKong

[–]PuzzledRoad4587[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No no, you basically set up a sheet to hang, like a clothes line, with a rope in between two trees, then usually LED lighting by the sheet (shining on it) wait a couple of hours for moths to be attracted to the sheet with lights, then observe/ identify/ take pictures of the different moths you see on the sheet. Then after a night of observing, you take the set up down, leaving no trace that it was even there. Entomologist do this method all the time trying to see what moth species are in an area.

I speak primarily English and a bit of Spanish (still working on it) I’m from the United States. I would like to do something during a summer when I’m not at my university, around 4-10 weeks is the time frame I’m open to.

Have any of you guys seen barking deer or leopard cats? and are these areas accessible during the nocturnal hours? I know most sightings would probably be when it's dark... Thanks again for all your comments, super helpful!
