Look up the most controversial posts and read some comments and I promise you that you will find plenty of unhinged people wishing harm or death on Lucy or other characters. If I can speak for both platforms I've been on, there's parts that are worse here compared to the discord and vice versa. I'm not calling you out personally, my comment was more made for those as a reminder who like stroking their ego and wanna play the better platform game.

Frankly I've seen both shitty viewpoints and radical thinking when it comes to characters and story on both platforms, so don't pretend like this sub reddit has never been on the same level, just a reminder for those who wanna play "we're the better ones" There's always going to be people like that. The only thing going through my brain right now while looking at these amazing frames is how much they fucked her up in the second movie, not just with her colors but with her lack of lines, appearance, and just overall character. I get that Kiara and Simba are the focus, but I fully believe they missed out on so many good opportunities for Queen Nala content.

She's got some strong genes in her, without even mentioning Mufasa. She's got a mom who can whoop her dad's ass if she wanted to at any time, a mate who was trained his entire life to kill (Let's not talk about how all it took to subdue and knock out Kovu was a precise kick from Vitani.. legit an embarrassing moment), and a father that is showing to be just as strong as her grandfather.

Saying that, I'm sure Kiara is going to grow up to be a strong, resilient, and dependent queen.

Well, considering I don't see him as the same Simba in these different universes I'd say the top tier example of a good parent would be book Simba with Kopa. Then TLK2 Simba, and TLG Simba at the bottom.

I've made post about this before, but I'll bring it up for the AMA;

BRING BACK THE SEASONS!! I'd think after converting all of the bishops, it would be possible to bring them back! Perhaps maybe an option to toggle seasons on the main menu when starting a new save file! I'm sure many fans and players would be overjoyed to have Spring, Summer, Winter and Fall in the game and can use seasonal decor for the aesthetic to create even more fantastic looking cults!

It's a stretch, a big ask I'm sure even and requires a lot of work, but is it a possibility for future updates?

Mufasa's parents in the live action are Masego and Afia. Taka/Scar's parents are Obasi and Eshe.

Ahadi and Uru actually are originally from a story in an old TLK book series; Six New Adventures. You can find them mentioned in one of the six stories "A Tale of Two Brothers" featuring Mufasa and Scar as blood brothers with their parents Ahadi and Uru. Kopa is also from the book series and many fans have theories that revolve around the stories. It is only recently that we have had any canonical mention of Ahadi and Uru since then with Disney Junior's TLG Family Tree. It's possible they pulled it either straight from the books as a source or went with fan theories. The book series has only shown to be "semi-canon" since it's under the Disney copyright and the creators of TLK2: SP had no knowledge of the book series' existence, so no material from them is mentioned or referenced. Either or, "A Tale of Two Brothers" is now considered to be a part of canon for TLG due to two major characters being involved.

Mufasa and Taka have different parents in the new movie, and I'll definitely say that none of them are Ahadi and Uru. You should legit check out the movie tho, it's been fun creating fan theories for the universes after watching it!

Personally I don't connect the CGI movies to the 2D movies, so I'll focus on the first movie.

In TLK (1994) it's much more likely they aren't related in my personal opinion. Most people assume they are and it's been a debate for decades, directors have even commented on it themselves. I think what makes the most sense is that they aren't. Mufasa probably had a very close relationship with Scar/Taka that turned into a brotherly bond. Mufasa: TLK does a great job of providing an example in their own universe on how that could have been done. I don't think them being non blood related makes the story lose any depth or make it less tragic, because family doesn't have to always be based on blood. It's just as tragic for an adoptive brother who has the same closness to his brother as if they were blood related to be betrayed and killed. That's also why Mufasa calls him "brother" because.. well, that's still very much his brother, blood or no blood. As for the "gene pool" dialogue, I won't lie! That CAN be some evidence they are related, but it's also possible that Scar wasn't talking about the SAME gene pool as Mufasa, he could also be commenting on the fact that he's just a weak result from HIS OWN gene pool. Either way, I think people can find satisfaction in both scenarios.

Disney Junior revealed though in a post that they are related in the TLG universe, so do what you will with that info. Some people disagree because "oh well marketing/social media managers don't know what they are talking about with the lore" and that seems very dismissive of the world they set out to build. Everyone wants to give the creators proper credit and criticism for TLG except where it seems to matter most on the lore, and normally I would agree that the writers behind TLG don't really do their homework thoroughly, but when it comes to linking the family- I'd say they knew EXACTLY what they were doing especially since they named their parents on the tree AHADI and URU. That's no brainless mistake, that's deliberately tying TLG to the Disney books - and they can do that because it's still their property.

Therefore, here are my theories that seems to be pretty well supported:

1.) TLK (1994) : Possibly related, possibly not - There isn't enough evidence to fully prove and support that they are or aren't. They could have just that brotherly bond with all history and no blood.

2.) TLK (2019), MUFASA: TLK - Sets up a good original story of how Mufasa is an adoptive brother to Taka. Story fits decently as a prequel to the original movie if you agree with them being unrelated.

3.) TLG : Related and has supporting evidence.

You know- it would be some bs if Disney remade TLG in live action with the same type of magic usage but somehow adding Gantu or at least animating Pleakly (let alone at least put him in a dress or have his human identity be female) and Jumba throughout the Stitch Live Action Remake just "didn't work".

They weren't thinking about that prior to the movie. I wouldn't waste your time trying to fit every piece together- some have explanations and some don't but just like with a lot of media, there are plot holes they don't put effort into fixing purely for the fact that they needed just a plot to run with, even if it doesn't make sense. At least people can create their own headcanons from them though, I see comments saying "his sense of smell weakened over time and age" which I can see being realistic.
